  • I am from Sask and love it, but its comments like broseph354 that make us all look like a bunch of sheltered, uneducated idiots. Thats a pretty wild claim to make. If your going to make us look like that why dont you at least try to come up with something that could at least be possible, like a Rider fan invented the exclamation mark. You own a pair of white sunglasses dont you.

  • Thanks for putting this video on YOU TUBE!!! Go Riders!!!

  • merchandise sold in North America

    1st- Dallas Cowboys

    2nd- Montreal Canadians

    3d- Saskatchewan Roughriders

  • @broseph354 That's a great stat. Any links to the actual stats? I'd think that the Yankees would be up there.

  • @rectagon1 A friend of mine owns a sports merchandising franchise and this is the information he gave me. Life long rider fan i wasn't that surprised, because at the games, the rider fans go all out, there's no "iffy" rider fans. you can always tell who's a rider fan.

  • It's all about the guys who use the full watermelon

  • Its funny how there are way way way more rider fans that dress really crazy too. Norm is one of them

  • That Norm is a die hard fan!! LOL

  • Waaaayyy better than cheeseheads! Haven't tried it yet but next game fo sure.

  • best fans in the league. Argossssss, cheers

  • lol ha I love the passion!

  • That's a really interesting tradition. I'd never heard about it until today. Certainly beats the cheeseheads.

  • My buddy and I wore a watermelon helmet for the first time in July of 2000 I got the picture to prove it! but even at that time you would see the occasional one on the practice field before the game so who knows where it started-we got lots of high fives and head slaps after the game at Checkers when it was still around on south Albert. Either way I'm glad its a rider tradition that everyone embraces these days, Go Green!
