Hi electedfreedum. Id like to know if your sofwares are original with serial number and rigistered to every company?. I virtual dj 5.07 and also 6.08, but they are crack versions i am trying to set it up with Exponent but it not working properly. Can you help or just answer to the question if you can. right click on the cross fader on Torq and use the hardware crossfader to set the fade speed to fully open and fully closed

Im just gettin my feet wet here and Im torn between traktor and VDJ 6, Im kind of leaning toward VDJ but I may just say to hell with it and get ableton, but im not sure how ableton live 8 is for mixing/ live dj compared to the fore-mentioned programs. Any input would be much appreciated.

you can control the fader 'gate speed' in torq by holding shift down on the exponent while dragging the bars in the fader box around. I hope this helps!

Hey if you kinda like that traktor, try Traktor Pro. It's amazing! If you dont feel like shelling out the cash, there's a few great torrents you can get to to try Traktor Pro until you are ready to buy it. Or if it's not worth the money, just keep using the torrented one. Hope this helps!

hej, I use virtual dj... but I don't hear the music out of my headphones!!! I use the usb connection... everything works but... no headphone sound!!! heeelp!!! reply pls!!!

goto config>settings and select headphone on the output you can assign left channel to headphone and one channel to main mix if you use mono separated or front and rear channel if you have 4.1 ch

go to the config menu.... select sound setup.... and there.... with output, you select: HEADPHONES. and with soundcard you select: 2 cards.... and then you should get 2 tasks beneath it! and there you have to select... 1 & 2 for exponent and 3 & 4 for the headset! (or something like that, you will find it!!)

Hey man, good video i didnt think you could hook up the xponent to other programs so well

you can adjust the curve of the crossfader in torq by holding the shift button (the green arrow next to the platter) click and hold the crossfader and move left or right :)

hey which virtual dj version did u use with your xponent because the latest version of virtual dj was not simply plug and play with my xponent.

I use decadance with Xponent it supports the scratch function & touch sensitivity, but not the beat matching lights.

Ive also found the sound of the scratching is poor in torq.

torq can also be a pain in the ass sometimes guessing the bpm of a track, it displays it as half what it is, never get that with deckadance but the bpm isn't so steady, took me a while to get used to torq, i used deckadance before I got the xponent, using torq timecoded vinyl, that worked almost flawlessly.

if you hold shift on the lil arrows then click it. by the bpm it will show it double. like say a techno song is 140 bpms but it shows it at 70, u can hold shift and click on it till it shows up at 140.
