@1jetdrvr I think you missed the whole point of this movie. This was not a documentary. You're right about this movie being a fantasy. Who doesn't wanna experience some of the characters in this movie for a brief moment??? Unless you're involved in drug trafficking or the law who cares about how drugs get into the country? there was no way this film could compete with the original series. And no matter how much you tried to see it as a different film to the orignial 80's one you just kept comparing it... the only way they could do a Miami Vice film would be to continue the story from the 80's with the same actors.
