"Designed to get you hot, not the planet" and "Pure driving passion"? Is it for "green" people or is it for "drivers"? Or is it going to be a car for women?
Between those opposing positioning notions and the cliches ("passion" ugh), Fisker is clearly not working with top critical thinkers. This launch could get very ugly, very quickly.
@Uberwagon You know... the best way to make the whole world "green" is to make all the stuff they want to own "green" from the very beginning. Like what if the 2012 Mustang came out as electric ONLY.. as in zero internal combustion options available at all. Would ford maybe sell a few less? Possibly.. but they WOULD sell, and not just to the finite "greenie" market.
Just because a car is environmentally forward-thinking doesn't mean it has to look like some douche shoebox.

I think the best point that's been made against these electric cars is the fact that they're LESS environmentally friendly thanks to all the dirty chemicals etc in the batteries.
1) Gasoline does not magically appear at service stations. 2) Gasoline contains carcinogens and is combusted all around us. 3) Gasoline has 2x the explosive energy of TNT. 4) Oil change much? 5) EVs powered by coal/oil-generated electricity are STILL cleaner than maintaining the status quo. 4) Please educate yourself and refrain from spreading this falsehood. Then you'll have clarkson saying something about bearded sandal wearers chomping tofu on organic bread whilst hugging trees, and then fox news will probably have Glenn Beck drawing diagrams linking it to nazi germany...and eventually trolls saying everyone who drives one is pompous and smug
