This game changed everything. IN grade 8 I brought it to school and the teacher created a class on 3D animation. It was that year Toy story came out and everything was changing....This game has never been replaced

it was fun. its been a while but it seems it was a little hard to control the characters sometimes.. either way, windows 95 and everything that goes with it was a HUGE improvement

@sukingeggs1 3dmm.com, you cant download 3d MOVIE MAKER itself,(buy the disc off amazon) but you can download mods. you need to get a program called v3dmm off the site to download the mods and add them to 3dmm, but you cant use any extra camera angles, props, actors, sounds or scenes when using v3dmm.

I think I must have been young when I played a demo for it.. IT only had a car, a scene, and a large round guy with a red shirt or something..

I ended up understanding it pretty thoroughly though, and made like, 50 little mini videos for my mom, who finally had to ask me to stop xD

Microsoft should make a new version of this all together (not just expansions). I mean, this game is like 14 years old now and people are still using it.

despite it being so old, it is still pretty good, although I agree they should totally make an updated version that gives you a lot more actions, and even give you an option to make your own characters or something. I lived on this game as a kid, I have made probably over 100 3d movies, I loved it.

Same here. I grew up with this game too and it helped me become a bit more creative. It'd be a shame if kids today don't get to benefit from programs like this. Of course, most would probably rather play videogames than stuff like this. ^^;
