  • mre1491 below is correct with his/her remarks. The commenter, ziggster59, below is not. As useless mulch decomposes, it releases Methane, a bad Greenhouse Gas. Also, the chippers are big polluters of non-biogenic CO2, and they release black carbon (soot) with their large Diesels and they are quite expensive to run. That's why oftentimes it does not pay to grind wood waste and truck it to biomass (co-gen) plants to make electricity. It's smarter to use the portable BurnBox to make electric power.

  • Burnbox PG220 makes electricity needing no expensive and polluting chippers and trucking of biomass. Burnboxes are not polluting much: burning biomass at high temps, nearly 100% combustion efficiency is achieved: basically only CO2 is released, the same CO2 that the biomass consumed from the air while alive giving back oxygen. Burn processes from fossil fuels (Diesel trucks, ships, etc.) release much soot or black carbon, a bad Greenhouse Gas. The burnbox does not and thus is carbon-neutral.

  • "an environmentally sound way" !? Not imo,it's better to use as mulch which biodegrades back into the earth. If it's going to be burned it needs to be shredded and used to make electricity. At least that way the effluent goes through a scrubber because no matter how hot that thing is there will still be gases the environment can do without!

  • I saw a program on TV about this company and their green machines. They manufacture the highest quality, green, and environmently friendly line of machines. I witnessed one run in person and standing next to the machine, you cannot smell or see smoke. All states should require the use of these environmently friendly machines for getting rid of wood waste. No one would have to smell and inhale the smoke that is so damaging to breathe..

  • Awesome! I saw these air burners on Mega Machines.
