@raven6kaplan They can learn to understand patterns, but that's something most animals can do. For example, my youngest boy, Gimble, is taken out for a cuddle at precisely 7pm every night. He knows now to wake up and come out of his bed by then because he gets mealworms as a treat.

@raven6kaplan But when compared with something like a rat, they really aren't that intelligent. I'd say intelligence in animals is the ability to solve problems, such as treatballs and such. My 2 boys have a treatball each, but judging by their surprised at the treats falling out, they haven't picked up on how to get the treat out, they just happen to push it the right way.
