If you were around at that time, remember there was so much great talent around through the 60's that even a great entertainer as JR was one of many others. The Beatles, Presley and all the Motown crowd, Smokey etc.. There's nothing today that touches that time period. God I'm glad I lived through the greatest time in music.

I didn't know that Johnny Rivers is not in the HOF. That's unbelievable! He belongs in there big time! They have quite a few people in the HOF that have nothing to do with rock but this guy was a serious pioneer of rock music in the 60s with a lot of great songs.
