Lemieux on Bourque is of course one of the best goals ever scored. Nobody else I've seen would even think of doing such a thing, including Orr. Mario had an tremendous imagination for the game. And Bure on Lidstrom is amazing. Lidstrom, the future hall of famer, had 50 feet to match speed and set himself up for Bure, yet Bure just blows by him. A great display of exceptional talent. Primeau's is all heart and never say die. Great goal. And Spezza's is just smokin' slickness. 10 fine goals.

#4 was a great play by two players. Way to be for Tom Fitzgerald to take the hip check to get it to Primeau who finshed it off with a solid one on one play.

And Lemieux of course is a legend. Lemieux did a lot of things like that that made your head spin. Putting it in a defenceman's skate, scoring right off the faceoff, faking a shot and letting it go through his legs (in a Gold Medal Game). He was a legend, one of the greatest.

Did you watch what Lemieux did with the puck? He layed it right in Ray Bourque's (one of the greatest defenceman of the modern era) skate. Completely fooling him. And then of course he came around pulled it back out and scored. It might not have looked that great because he made it look so easy, but that's actually a very clever goal with great foresight and finesse.
