I really understand you because I also like Turkey and have no problem with Turkish people because I've really got maaaany Turkish and Kurdish friends in Istanbul and in some cities of Anatolia... My grand-parents by the side of my father were from Konya and Mersin, and married in Adana where they were living... I only dislike the racist Turkish Government and those fundamentalist muslim Turkish people... Ne mutlu türk-ermeni-yehudi'im diyene :)

I like my Jewish brothers, but I don't understand how (the ones I met) can be Zionist ... especially because most of them are so proud of their Turkish/Turkic herritage it just seems wierd to me .. telling me your a Turkish nationalist and zionist at the same time .. I mean nothing against Judaism, but zionism isn't a religion it's an ideology that became popular after ww2 and the holocaust.

P.s. I know this subject is very sensetive, but I would like it if some one explained

Im half Turkish (have many Jewish friends) it's nice to be able to have pride in my culture- I get battered all the time about the Armenian genocide and the Kurdish issue- Im so tired of always defending my Turkish culture we're not all bad people, we have a history of doing good things- you guys should also read up on what the Ottomans did for the Irish people (Drogheda town)- good stuff!!!

There are about 30,000 Turkish-Jews in Turkey.A large group of their committee came to the U.S last summer to speak up against the Armenian genocide Resolution,and gave lectures on how their ancestors were also killed by Ottoman Armenians...unfortunately it fell to deaf ears.
