Thanks for the tips, can I use like a thick hair gel or wax (like the stuff in the video you use in that little pot) I was reading up on that pomade stuff and found out that it can take several washes to get it out, I'm doing a welding course at college so I get pretty hot and sweaty, like I don't want to shower after college and have really oily greasy hair.
@80MOOSE08 yes, something like the stuff in the pot. I've cut my hair super short lately and have a similar problem with ballet and dance team. The product i use now is healthy sexy hair soy paste, which granted is expensive, but just an example lol. or wax. thats a good one too, but remember try to use as little as you can and still get the look you want. rubbing it in your hands with help you spread it evenly :D
Hi, can you help me figure out how to do this hairstyle, it's of the film prince of Persia and the main character played by Jake gyllenhaal (there are pictures an google), I'm a guy and I really like the hairstyle, I have the general haircut but I can't get my hair to do what I want, when I put it in a centre part, it just looks flat, can you help me?
@80MOOSE08 I suggest, while it is drying add a little bit or styling product, that offers texture. this means something thick like pomade, but start with a TINY bit! until you can practice this. As you air dry it, keep pushing it back with your hand like you are combing the top of your head with your fingers. This will give it the body. I will keep falling down, but as you finger comb it, kind of coax it to parting in the middle. Hopefully with practice this will make a textured zig-zag line...
(Part 2 80MOOSE08 question) ...like i'm explaining in the video. When its dry, try a little hairspray while tipping your head back, give it a second to dry, then stand straight again... and please let me know how this works for you! :D
if you are a bit more daring, you can blowdry your hair with a round brush, rotating it forward while pushing it back? if you can understand what i mean :)
@rumadeofstardust2 aaaand while you do the finger comb thing, it helps to tell you to wiggle your fingers as you push back to make this rough line... i would seriously considering making a request video for you if you need extra help understanding my butchered explanation xD and it sounds like a fun look for a guy.
Thank you to everyone who is supporting my video! I've been busy with school and work, but I would love to get back into videos and the support for this video is inspiring! <3 much love from rumadeofstardust2 :)
ive been forceds to have center parted hair for 15 years now... and your video didn't hlp in the slightest to give me an idea of how to make my hair interesting.
@3FrozenAngel3 i'm sorry, this video is more for people who've never done it before. I think the best advice i can give is to try the subltle jagged line to get more texture and go from there :)
Finally someone did a center parted hair video.....I need ideas on how to style my center parted bangs that i am trying to grow out.....and this helps ...thanks for the video!
