200mph 2007 ls2 c6 corvette

Sorry, I do not buy it... at 150mph+ the dotted line becomes solid (unless you have a high shutter speed). Everything blurs in your field of vision to about a 1 foot square tunnel vision. You are doing 1/4 mile every 3 seconds, 1 mile in 15 seconds... I thought 120mph was fun but going 160mph was a bit scary. I left a quarter mile to break but at 160mph that isn't much for a 90 degree turn... Thank God for ABS breaks as I went from160, 140, 100, 80 around a turn in my twin turbo Z in 1990.

@randy yes you can...very easily actually...the hypertech is a great reprogrammer...and ya neither did I until I plugged my programmer in and it was set at 180mph, now it's set for 250 as if it will ever go that fast haha...thanks for watching bro...check out my autocross video, I'm new so it's not the greats nor fastest time but it's a short fun video...

@drich1s I tested the top speed, it stopped at 182mph wich was 174mph on the gps wtf:S and it said fuel cut off .....are you sure it will completely disable the limiter with a handheld tuner? before I spend 500 euros??

I think it was the bully dog reprogrammer, the top speed completely stock was 180mph is where the governor was set at from factory...

I know where you were at. those are some nice hiways. You were on I-70 weren't you? i would have been hauling ass to but i got busted in Texas on hiway380 leaving for Vegas myself doing 115mph. Cop said i could have gone to jail & my shit inpounded. only to realize the ticket was $506.00. So needless to say the rest of the trip, 800 miles were fucked.

@ilovecameltoe2 i agree 100%...you can thank youtube copyright policies for that...i had great clips of it w/out music but they muted the whole thing...and original video was deleted after editing...i was new to youtube and didnt plan on any problems so i couldnt re make a new video...so im stuck with this one until i try again...oh...and i luv me some camel toe too!!!

I thought even stock Z06s wouldn't quite do 200 mph (around 198 I think)? How can a stock LS2 (not even LS3) do it?

@jacklinofx your half right....it does need to be reprogrammed with some sort of reprogrammer...when i said 100% stock i more or less was refering to the engine mods...no internals...my friends reprogrammed zo6 tops out at 205mph with nothing done engine wise, no intake or exhaust...as far as 100% stock my car isnt anymore...this video is when i 1st picked it up and went to vegas...friday come look for my next video...getting cam,springs,rockers,and retainers thrown in it...

I don't buy in. Maybe I nodded out on the long straights but I never saw 200. However, I did see major descrepancies between the mph readings and the tach. 140 mph at 3000 rpms? I don't think so! Note that the tach wavers wildly while the speedometer holds steady. But, maybe the tach was faulty, right? Note too that 80 mph looks about the same as the claimed 150 mph. The video is very entertaining but seriously manipulated it seems to me.

@greggor1946 Hate to break it to you and all but the tach wavering is from shifts. When you depress the clutch the tach can move while the speedo stays constant. That is basic car knowledge. Also 140mph at 3krpm is not only possible but easily done in a Z... Remember that is not a LS2.

Should have left it in 5th gear. I was still accelerating at about 1 mph every 1.2- 1.5 seconds when I stopped at 170. The engine was turning @ 5100 rpm, 5th, 170 mph. Because of the gearing, the amount of torque/ horsepower, 6th gear is only good for an extra 10, maybe 20 mph above 5th gear under good conditions. I'm gonna redo mine. Did it unprepared on a whim. Long live the Heads-up display!! And unlike my other penis, I don't share this one. Yeah, baby! Corvette!
