The best thing to do would be to bury it in a safe underneath your garage or if you just so happen to have a dirt floor basement, that would probably work just fine.

Unfortunately the safes keep everything protected from the fire for a rather short amount of time. This of course is dependant on the temp. and your particular safe, as far as just how long. But no matter, it more than likely will not be enough time for the fire dept if the fire is taking the house.
