  • This was originally recorded by Chris Kenner in 1961, followed by Dave Clark Five covering it in 1965. Various other bands have recorded less-notorious covers; this one is probably an example of these. Does sound great with the male-female counterversing.

  • How many versions of this song were recorded?

  • This version is OK, but the best one was sung by a woman with a real pretty voice. But somehow it disappeared out of my faves. :-(

  • this is my favirote version..but the girl does a really goood job

  • great track, I have this on a Decca issue.. now you just need a Bush or Hacker player from the sixties to get the authentic valve sound - it will blow that plastic thing out of the water! you'll be amazed at the sound of those original players.

  • true. an old record player is much cooler then the newer ones

  • Prefer the original by

    Chris Kenner...a prime

    example of NEW ORLEANS

    GOLD!!

  • I don't know either, but I heard it before....
