You are so lucky in Australia to have lorys as one of your native birds! I live in Toronto, Canada and I own a green nape lory who I named Nikki. She is 2yrs. old and I love her to pieces! Our birds in Canada are beautiful too but it would be wonderful to have these beautiful lorys just flying around wild and coming to your garden or balcony! I would love it!! I have been a bird lover my entire life. I love this video!
@holmsatlarge Its funny you should mention that because at my parents house, rainbow lorys come regularly and there was one that came about 2 years ago and she flew and me and she seemed like a pet bird to me. We slowly worked on getting her closer and closer into the house and now, she has her own nesting box inside and is currently sitting on two eggs. But last year she layed three eggs and only one of them hatched, it was GORGOUS ! Lovely stuff :]
