What does is they're disppointing on stage, not only because, as everyone can see, Kazu is still unable to play something while she's singing, but also because of the gazillions backing tracks given they're only 3. A lot of their songs are still quite good like this one though. BR remains a good studio band to me.

I appreciate your sensibility. I love this band as well, but yes, live they are not very well performers. And me saying she should be in the porn industry wasn't because I thought she sucked on stage, but just because she's hot. Also, for some strange reason, their music often makes me dwell on sex. I can't say exactly what it is about it though.

Man, with this band, I vacillate between thinking they are horrible and brilliant. Its a fine line for me. Some songs I really get into, some, like this, I think, this sounds like someones high school talent show band. I keep waiting for some dude to scream out Slayer! But other times, I feel as though they are pretty amazing. I like the ambiguity, being unsure. Great Art if not great music maybe. I dunno, but I am glad they are out there.

Someone's high school talent show band -- are you serious? I listen to this and am amazed. It's a beautiful, beautifully-structured song with these kind of perfectly imperfect vocals. The drumming alone is a display of innovation. I'm real surprised that this -- one of their best songs -- makes you think of a talent show. Well, to each his own.

I saw Kazu perform with the flu once, and from that moment on I swore I'd never bitch about being sick ever again. They could've canceled but didn't (anyone else would have). And she was super sick, turning to sip water or blow her nose, but she owned that stage. I just love her!

After waiting for 2 hours for the rain to stop, they cancelled the concert. BUT the next day I saw Dirty Projectors and then on Saturday Battles (two of the best bands in the city), and both concerts were also for free, so that kind of made me feel better again after what happened that day.
