Also even though the Taser XP cartridge for LE will fire up to 35 feet the accuracy is less the further it travels. The Xp is great for police who have time to position themselves for deployment, but the 15 foot cartridge is good enough. Also remember that the ideal distance for adequate probe spread and good accuracy is about 7 feet.
