@slangsing Good question, but no...They are actually RIVALS...Mazy Star "claims" that Hope Sandoval "stole" their act and has refused to acknowledge this as "truth"...The Hope Sandoval group has continually denied the alligations, and has said that they never "heard" of Mazzy Star or Opal for that matter. The world has been split on who to believe for years, and we may never know the truth. Hope this helps.

This is my favourite song on the album. Love the lyrics, the guitar, the whole melody in this song is amazing. Reminds me of cruising down by the ocean with the top down and hair blowing in the wind. Cozy and delicious.
