If Ron Paul is the GOP nominee he's got my vote. If not, I pray that he doesnt go as the 3rd party nominee because he will steal votes from the conservative side and Obama will win again.
You have to remember that 85% of the subprime loans were pushed by PRIVATE lenders not fannie and freddie. There used to be regulations in place to prevent that, ayn rand deregulationists (including Allen Greenspan) have been undoing those regulations since the 80's.

There are circles within the international banking cartel and in Washington who DELIBERATELY promoted the scenario. Why? a) To make more money, and b) To promote globalism by hiding its destructive consequences behind the various bubbles (Dot-Com, Y2K, housing).
