  • LOVE THIS STREET.

  • I went on the VIP tour, but unfortunately filming was going on so we didn't get to see Wisteria Lane.. or get off and look around.

  • I Love Wisteria Lane

Wisteria Lane Is Very Best Of Colonial street

  • Ive just come back from LA unfortunatly Wisteria Lane was a closed set because they were filming! I would of loved to see it in real life am a HUGE D.H.W fan!! :(

  • me fav house is at 1:53 the one where alma hodge lived

  • I have been there too. It's pretty :)

  • The Best, I will want to Colonial Street in Universal Studio.

  • 0:38 is the van de kamp/ hodge house

  • Does anyone know when Desperate Housewives will have its series finale because I am not going on this tour until it does. I just watched on the video, the Munster's, Ghost and Mr. Chicken, and the Delta House go by without one word from the tour guide about it. Even if I were a fan of the show I am also a huge fan of the classic tv/films that were shot there.

  • Lol, You were lucky. I went there and took a video tour myself to post it here but they were filming so we couldnt go any further than the end of Wisteria Lane. It was kinda cool to see production people walking and driving around the set. I didnt get to see any of the housewives, though. It was still exciting!

  • lucky, i was there three years ago and the set was closed off to us. All I saw of Wisteria lane was a street corner and a few houses

  • Wisteria Lane is on top of a closed Universal Studios landfill. Is it dangerous to work there? Is explosive methane gas beneath the homes? Are cancer-causing chemicals present in the landfill?

  • They shoot DH during the week, & the tram tour only drives down Wisteria lane on the weekends when there is no filming being done. It remained closed for many weeks (including weekends), recently, when they were filming the tornado scenes. Right now, due to the strike, there's no filming, and it has been open just about EVERY day. My husband is a tour tram driver.

  • Mansions

  • The Desperate Houswives people also destroyed the original Munster house by tearing down the top tower portion and ripping down the majority of the rounded barn shaped section. It's almost completely unrecognizable now. It's disgusting what they did.

  • Was Jason your tour guide? It sounds a lot like him. He was my tour guide for the VIP tour and yet we were unable to go inside Wisteria Lane because of filming.

  • I love DH muchly, but that tour guide made it sound more like Balamory.

'And over there is the yellow house, where Josie Jump committed suicide...'

  • Have we ever seen the yellow house between Mrs. McCluskeys house and Edie's house on the show? It doesn't look familiar.

  • I'm pretty sure it's been on screen on the show but not for a recurring character, it's usually the random neighbor house in various shots. I could be wrong though.

  • WHAT! The people from the Desperate Assholes, defaced the Delta house from Animal House. (the blue one) I hope they put it back the way it was when this show is discontinued.

  • i love desperate housewives!

thanx so much for this video

i took the tour at universal studios last year but we couldnt pass through wisteria lane =[

    hope i can this year

  • For all the people who don't know, Whisteria Lane is actually a real town. The name of it is "Celebration" and is about 15 minutes from Disney. A quick example is that one time the cops had to come to some of the houses to search the bushes because they got a call that there were people naked doing dirty stuff inside of them. But for more information type in "Celebration Florida" into youtube and yahoo/google for lots more information!

  • No, I think you're wrong.

  • I didnt hear the narrator of the tram ride say anything about the other famous houses on the street. The Munsters house is the grey one, also the Hardy Boys house is on the street and Animal House from the movie.

  • I know, some of the tour guides do also mention the houses aliases. Susan's house was the Hardy Boys house, The Applewhite's house was the Munster House, Mary Alice's house was the Beaver home.

  • @Authenticink

he mentioned the munster's house right at the begining. the camera was filming the opposite side of the street though.

  • the houses you were talking about werent on the screen. while you talked about them...

  • Right. That's why I said in the description that the tour guide was describing the opposite side of the street.

  • Yeah, it's only open on weekends, although the season is almost over and for the first few weeks of the summer they usually open it up during the week.

  • I was there too but on this day they filmed Desperate Housewives and that meant for us that we didn't see one of the famous houses!

  • i mean to go to Universal Studios on a Saturday, but, does Wisteria Lane is open on saturdays??

  • Finaly somebody made a good video of wisteria lane, with a good view...thank you very much for uploading.
