I saw him for the first time too last night at Manchester Apollo. This is how I have always wanted to hear him and I was not dissapointed. His new band is awesome but you have to hear this live to really dig his new sound. His voice is so much deeper and lower than what he captures on his records and I loved his voice live, he has a real baritone range and that is something I never noticed before. I was very lucky as I was right at the front near the middle and got a brill view.
