  • Yo,im looking for Some DDR Games,Either for the Ps3 or Ps2! Its for my Anime Club anything Animish like Xepher or Japaneese :3 Pwease,I appreacite! Also a fan of Gorillaz! x3

  • @heartlessdanny Get a Wii and DDR II. It's arguably the best thing to cross the pond since Extreme 2.

  • The re-recordings from Furu Furu Party and Music Fit did not make it to X2 AC, but DYNAMITE RAVE was the only re-recording that made it to X2 AC.

  • Wait! is there a Non-Stop version on Dance Dance Revolution 2010?

  • @BlackCaScorpio you have to unlock all of the Konami Originals (the songs in white lettering)

@FreakehDeedle The song is "will" by Naoki

  • So how many songs total are there in this version? Did u have to unlock all of those songs?

  • @BlackCaScorpio I think it's 60 tracks not including the lesson songs.

  • what are the names of the songs played at 2:06 on the 'hottest party' song pack?

  • hOTTEST PARTY 2 - Into your heart from DDR S for iPhone :D

  • Question: What happens if you turn OFF the Movies from the Graphic Options? Try showing me a video of one.

  • I wish they had at least a few japanese songs like they did on the PS2 versions and in the arcades.

  • How do you get roppongiEvolved? I've got Kimono Princess but Pluto the First is so hard I tryed doing it on cut mode which ships 'bout 75% but I guess they found that catch and every time I get a D! :(

  • i hate these japanese songs. the first video is better with the american songs!

  • I hate american songs! I wish it had japanese songs only : (

  • @anitec19 You may as well start importing, as NO US DDR is going to please you.

  • @anitec19 agreeeeeed, along with korean song/kpop, kpop and jpop are ta bessst :)

  • I Dont get it. I unlocked all the data from HP2 (I have both HP2 and HP3) but i cant find the songs! I have all the outfits and all...

  • Kimono princess is for anime nerds.

  • Whoa, didn't see the rest of this list and what the hell, KAMIKAZE PRINCESS! With Pluto The First and the two megamixes, that's a foot killer. You would need a team to complete that.

  • @trudecepticon I've actually gotten as far as roppongiEvolved on that nonstop. The problem came about when it picked ver. C. I was REALLY hoping for ver. B on that as it's the easiest of the three to deal with. Otherwise, I MIGHT have made it through the two Hottest Parties.

The other big killer was having to do the whole nonstop at 1x because of Pluto The First...

  • @darknight068 Try practicing the other five songs on 1x.

  • @trudecepticon I can do it.

  • @trudecepticon Just when you thought this was about as difficult as it was going to get, DDR II pulls a fast one with it's final course. Can you pass 888 and Valkyrie Dimension with 4 other 17's and up in one go? What's even worse is that one of the songs in there is a LONG version.

  • CAN SOMEONE PLEASEEE TELL ME HOW U GET HOTTEST PARTIES 1+2 ON THERE!!?!?!?!?!

  • i hope there is a 4th ddr for the wii coming i am buying ddr3 on 29-08 and hp2 was lol to :P still working on finishing the game but i dont mind :P got all the songs and i am starting to learn my mother and grands mother how to play it (not my opinion but they need tot lose weight so maby helpfull )

  • how do you unlock pluto the first and roppongi evolved?

  • Do you know what the difference is between workout order 1-6 is if there all randomly generated? O.O

  • @EnspelledEntranced There is no difference unless you put specific songs in there.

  • @darknight068 I didn't know that was possible! O.O Thanks again! You're always helping me with things :D

  • Can You Put it On Double And Edit Songs

  • ...hmm, what's the "Hottest Party" and "Hottest Party 2"?

  • at 2:12, how to u get "hottest parties 1+2" on there!??!?!!? songs, someone pleeeeezz tell me

  • i have DDR hotest parties 3, and where do u get the albums "hottest parties 1and 2", on the game, like in ur song list at 2:05? someone please tell me

  • omg Dynamite rave i may have to get it just for that song...what happened to all the old songs like End of the Century, Drop the Bomb, Paranoia, Hysteria? :(

  • Hysteria is in X2 and the jump radar special for Dynamite rave and this cover is in it too.

  • dynamite rave is a beast song!!!

  • To be honest, I didn't like this songlist. That's why I got X2. I liked some of the revivals and the X JP songs were good too. The only reason I'd buy this is for Brilliant2U, Celebrate Night and the Nonstop megamixes. I really wish X2 had the new Brilliant2U. Even though we got the stream special, the song itself is pretty bland. I love the new version.

  • Thing was for me, it was the opposite issue. I could care less for the revivals (especially those in previous US releases) and X JP songs. That goes triple for the Groove Radar Specials, especially that waste of space called Dead End GRS. The only real thing I would want to play X2 for is some of the challenge charts for the new KOs, but other than that X2 was a pass for me. When they did the license split, the PS2 essentially lost out on the better licenses and charts for the year.

  • Ah, I see. Even though I don't really like the Groove Radar Specials too much either, I just acted like they were the revivals and I proceeded to the Edit Mode to input the original charts. (Excluding Dead End and Dynamite Rave)

I don't really care for the licenses in both versions; I like japanese/non-vocal licenses better. Another bummer with HP3 was no edit mode. I strive for edit mode. I'll stick with HP1, as HP2 and HP3 don't look so appealing.

  • For me, X2 and HP3's upsides and downsides exactly cancel each other out.

X2: Has Groove Radar Specials (I actually like them), doubles, challenge, and edit mode. Lacks good graphics, gimmicks, and hand markers.

HP3: Has gimmicks, HP1/HP2 megamixes, Rick Roll, and better graphics. Lacks challenge, doubles, and edit mode.

The only reason I got HP3 over X2 is because I don't have a PS2. =P If I had one, I'd probably get both of them.

  • @blueapple128 Funny, because now that I've actually messed around with most of the PS2 releases, X2 is a definite pass now. Edit mode is interesting for all of 5 minutes before you realize how limited it is. The games DO NOT save on their own after playing a song. The way DDRX1 and 2 run, it's like they've got the PS2 on life support, as the earlier PS2 games ran much better. That fancy 3D stuff took it's toll. ONLY X and X2 run in 480p, and even then there's no widescreen support.

  • kimino princess is soo fking hard

  • how do u unlock sacred oath?

  • Completing all of Tournament Mode (including Challenge mode) unlocks all songs except three.

Which 3 you leave out is your choice (The game gives you 4 songs, 1 of which is a boss song, and you pick 3 to play and unlock. The 4th one is not unlocked.)

These last three can be unlocked by getting enough DDR Points, unless they are boss songs, in which they can be unlocked by beating a CPU Dance Battle, which shows up after getting three A's or higher in a row on Free Play Mode on at least Basic.

  • Is that the whole songlist the first time you play the game?

  • No. Almost everything in the KO group has to be unlocked.

  • Almost? Which ones (outside of Lessons by DJ) don't need to?

  • Shine doesn't need to be. Neither does A Brighter Day if my memory is correct.

  • I'm glad that HP3 didn't include the challenge chart for Pluto The First because as your comment says, it does destroy people hard. The challenge chart (or should I say the shock arrow chart on X2) really destroys you faster, my opinion. I knew they would have made it harder, didn't expect shock arrows.

  • Don't fuck with the gimmick chart then. Missing a sudden arrow brings it about to the level of the shock arrow chart. That's not even taking into account having to read double stomp streams.

  • Keep On Movin' is from Dance Dance Revolution Extreme on PS2! Brings back memories... ;)

  • Keep On Movin' was around LONG before Extreme US. I think it originally came from 3rd mix arcade. The version of Keep On Movin' here is a revocalized version of Keep On Movin' DMX Mix made for DDR Furu Furu Party early this year.

  • pluto the first destroys me

  • Pluto The First destroys a lot of people. *lol*

  • I miss all the ps2 ddr songs :( Can you tell me which HP has the most techno/ konami original songs? HP 1, 2, or 3? I really want to know because i want to ask for this for Christmas. Thanks.

  • @KimuraMichiko HP1 has the most techno songs, trust me i have it.

  • I turned Gimmick on and the Gimmick arrows don't show up on Freeplay. Can you tell me the problem?

  • I can't imagine what's wrong because if I turn them on, they're ON. Balance Board and Hyper Move Mode don't have gimmicks irregardless of whether you turn them on or not, but Free Play does.

The only other thing I can think of is that you don't have them unlocked yet, but that's a stretch.

  • @darknight068 It's unlocked. It probably appears more often in the harder songs or something but I gotta check.

  • I've noticed Gimmicks don't actually show up as much in the charts this time around as they did in HP2. HP2 was MUCH harder with gimmicks because on top of that you also had mandatory hands requirements for AAAs on there.

A good HP3 example is Let's Get It Started. Only ONE section has the foot confuser gimmick and it's the "Everybody, Let's Get Into It, Get's Stupid" section. The rest of it is exactly the same as playing with no gimmicks.

  • Now if you want a song where the gimmick is prominent, play You Are A Star. It uses the diagonal arrow gimmick, and it's in plenty of places.

  • At 0:28, "Foot Confusers" should be "Minimizers/Normalizers".

  • Corrected.

  • Though admittedly the only actual difference between Normalizers and Foot Confusers is the color of the wireframe around the arrow.

  • DYNAMITE RAVE!!!! :D

  • Sacred Oath is the tamest song on Kamikaze Princess. 3 boss songs back to back to back, one in which you don't know what chart it'll pick, and then ANOTHER 10 minutes of stepping afterward with HP1 and 2 megamixes, both which end with 10 foot sections. Considering that this is forced 1x because of Pluto The First, this looks WAY harder than the hardest course was on HP2. I could still at least 1.5 that and get away with it. Part of me is actually crazy enough to want to see how far I get.

  • Call me crazy, but maybe try doing Pluto the First on 1.5x?

  • I can hardly read the 440 section at 1x sometimes on foot, I know damn well 1.5 ain't happening. *lol*

  • What's the gold star that appears at 2:35?

  • That's the favorites marker. If you hit + on a song you can tag it for your favorites tab.

  • wait so ur telling me that the previous 2 hottest party games are already in the third, three games in one...WTF!!!! waste of my money buying the 2nd the first time around...once I get this, ddr hp2 is going to gamestop -_- (unless Im wrong and there isnt 3 games in 1, some one plz explain b4 I do something stupid)

  • The HP1 and HP2 selections are nonstop megamixes of select KOs from both titles. They both run about 5 minutes, are rated 10, and have over 1,000 steps each. Think DDRX X-Mixes, except HP1 and 2 themed and you'll get the idea behind it.

  • So, it's basically a course of a few songs from the previous games?

  • In essence, yes.

  • arw these the same songs as ddrx2 for ps2? i need 2 know

  • not exactly the same. both HP3 and X2 have songs that the other doesn't.

  • X2 only got 15 out of 30 license songs. However, it gets revival songs, including all Groove Radar Specials, and the JP DDRX CS content. Pluto The First, True Love CTCM, and Keep on Movin are the Wii implants that it got. Shares the remaining KO's with HP3.

HP3 gets all 30 license songs in place of the revivals. Also gains the FFP Brilliant 2U and Celebrate Night to go along with the three Wii implants. Paradise, Now's The Time, and Be With You are new KO's exclusive to HP3 as well.

  • yea i found dat out

i just wish DDRX2 had never gonna give u up. lol nuthin' like getting rick rolled when playing ddr!

  • wow they really did try to bring ddr ratings up ever since x came out it lost its awesomeness but it r back

  • I taje it that HP and HP2 are mix songs from the games of the same name?

  • what you mean HP and HP2 are mix songs from the game with the same names?

  • I mean like Hottest Party is a nonstop mix of several songs of HP songs in one song

same goes for Hottest Party 2

  • Oh on HP3 it's not nonstop it's mega Mix... you know, remix of DDRHP1 songs with other DDRHp1 songs, like DDR Universe MEGAMIX

  • do you own HP1 & 2? I wish konami would come out with a Wii DDR that had all the original techno songs on them. I dont like playing the "new" tracks.

I've heard HP1 has better songs than HP2. What would you say? Can you import your song list from HP1 onto HP3? I've only seen it ask to import songs from HP2.

So if I already have HP3, and want more techno-y songs what would you recommend? HP1 or 2?

    Thanks for posting these btw!

  • No you can't import DDR Wii games from other wii ddr games....

Also HP2 has way better songs that DDR HP1.

The reason Konami redid the lyrics to the old songs because of the old license expires or something..

  • go into the options in the game, and click on user support. It will load your save data from HP2, including songs, gear, stages. That's what it says. I can't try it myself since I do not have HP1 or 2. But I thought I read somewhere that it does work. Try it and let me know! haha

  • oh that's to unlock other ddr games for the wii...

    DDRHP2 support unlocks DDRHP1 for DDRHP1 game...

    DDRHP3 unlocks DDRHP2 games...

Just like DDR For Jpn PS2 games...

  • ooooh okay. dang well that message was a bit unclear lol

  • Comment removed

  • well it says that on HP2 too that it will unlock HP1 songs on HP2 but it doesn't. it just unlock all HP1 songs for HP1 game lol

  • OOh... thanks, I was asking myself and did'nt understand xD

  • if DDR HP1 and DDRHP2 on the song list a course or what?

  • They are nonstop megamixes. Both have around 1,000 some odd steps and are both 10s on Expert.

  • K thanks...

  • I take that back, HP1 I believe only has about 890 some odd steps. HP2 has 1,049 IIRC.

  • Aww man, can't wait to get this gameee!
