I'm a big McGahee fan, but straight up running over somebody is not his strength..he should have tried to spin forward off the hit instead..he is great at wiggling and spinning forward for more yds while he is wrapped up vs good tackles..or keeping his legs moving to get out of poorly finished ones..and the stiff arm...but he's not like Brandon Jacobs, Peyton Hillis, AP who would probably have plowed Clark onto his ass if he tried that

This is football. It's a vicious contact sport. It sucks that McGahee suffered a concussion, but that doesn't make the play itself illegal. It most certainly doesn't make Ryan Clark a head-hunter or thug or anything of that nature. He's a football player who made a football play. End of story.

As impact was eminent, McGahee lowered his helmet just a bit. I'm not blaming McGahee, because it's natural to attempt to protect yourself when a potential hit is on the way. What I am saying is that the helmet-to-helmet contact was caused just as much by McGahee's lowering head as it was by Clark. You can't penalize a defender for not being able to predict what the offensive player will do. If the officials start making calls of this nature, it sets up an inherent advantage for the offense

Steal your comeback? This isn't third grade. Steelers lead...LAST SEASON. I don't care how many they won, they're one of the original franchises. No shit they're going to have more titles. They're one of the only franchises to never relocate. At any rate, they're on par with New England. Big budget=big names, big owners=big "friend" moves. Baltimore has made their name through hard work and fair play, unlike pittsburgh (who, as i said, wont see the post season this year)
