Logan was a dick to start out with, but his character really grew and as their relationship advanced you saw that he really cared about Rory and was a decent guy underneath all that bravado. That's why he's the best of Rory's boyfriends imo - he was the most three dimensional character.

The real Rory (Rory from the first 3 1/2 seasons) would never give Logan the time of day. He wouldn't have even been written into the script because he would serve no purpose in Rory's life. And Rory never would have gotten back together with Dean, that was just lack of imagination and ideas on the part of the writers. She started getting bored with Dean in the second season and the writers only wrote him more dull after he graduated from high school. A great show that went waaaay downhill.

I like Jess too because he was charming. But why the Logan hatred?I liked both of them. For this scene specifically, I don't understand why there are like pages of "I hate Logan". In this video, all I see is Colin being a dick. Logan...ehh. Just because someone says "I love Logan" doesn't mean they should get a thumbs down for it. Logan has faults, and Rory did change a lot with him, but you get to decide if the sponteneity was good/badBoth Jess AND Dean have major faults too. Hypocrasy,,,

I was just saying Jess was definatly my favorite. I don't despise Logan though! He was. . . entertaining, but not very permanent. They would get together for 2 episodes break and get back together for 2 episodes and break and so on.

I understand if he's you favorite, xP. We all have our own picks.

However, I thought Logan was quite permanent. His relationship with Rory lasted the longest, worked long-distance and progressed and grew to be mature and serious. While they did have lots of random fights, I wouldn't call that a breakup, and to be fair, often it was Logan's fault. But Rory and Jess and Rory and Dean had their issues too, with many small fights.
