  • I have a cree torch white led from walmart $20 way better than all of these

  • I have one very powerful solid metal torch light that runs on 3 C batteries. Super powerful. Guess how much it cost? SGD$6...

  • @youronlycow Wha brader can tell me where you got it? Is it simlim or something?

  • @insertcooluser No, it's at Serangoon Nex. There is this shop on the Cinema level (I'm not sure) called the value shop or value for money something like that.. It's at a corner. They sell batteries, tidbits, drinks, electronics, sweets and a few other stuff at unbeatable price. check it out! It's a black metal kinda heavy one...

  • This guys house must be sick!

  • in the beginning when he said a few years ago i thought he said a few beers ago lol

  • Awesome

  • The pricing for 2012 was $30.00. But this was fun to do with my son. Now lets see how long it lasts when we go camping this summer.

  • It's going to melt like a hard-hat on Venus.

  • dude you R-U-L-E!

  • @Biglinemen48 up yours

  • @flucance AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA

  • It's a very nice mod, but now I would just buy a powerful LED flashlight off eBay - It's about the same price. I have bought some with 3w and 7w socalled cree LED's - The 7w are extremely bright.

  • I did this on my off time and I use it for everything

  • Kipkays great

  • Ew it's Kipkay...

  • @Fluvance ew it's a troll ( the troll meaing u)

  • @MrElmo38 Ew it's elmo.

  • @Fluvance uh oh elmo fell down can you help elmo up please?

  • @MrElmo38 NO ELMO! *crushes your face wit foot* STAY DOWN THERE YOU NAUGHTY WHORE!

  • @Fluvance god your so immature. and you might find that i am not a plush / stuffed stupid little red fluffy toy that says stupid thing. and learn something called grammar.

  • @MrElmo38 You're telling me to learn grammar...LOL you're fucking retarded....

  • @Fluvance lollolol im not retarded Thank You very much

  • @MrElmo38 U MAD BRO?

  • @Fluvance No thank you. are you? oh and p.s i aint your bro.

  • @MrElmo38 Oh I am furious. I'm just boiling with anger...because you're disowning me as your bother.

  • don't waste your time and money the reflector melts after 5 minutes and it won't work after that. If you only use it a couple of minutes at a time than go ahead and make one.

  • @thefrostflyer It didn't melt on mine and I have used it several times in the last couple months. Maybe you did something wrong?

  • does anyone every really do this?

  • very cool

  • I tried this a while back and ended up melting the cheap flashlight....watchout.

  • @hangover991 use a high power led

  • Funk it XD

  • 0:24 I know, there are never enough jews.

  • @Zickino167 lol'd so hard at that

  • @Zickino167 LOL! That was my first thought when I saw the video.

  • cheep it works

  • Comment removed

  • But will it blend?..

  • I think I'll make an "MKII" version with a high power 5W LED...

  • I should be sleeping now...

  • but shurefire does provide superior quality

  • trolololol wha?

  • ha dam thats pretty sweet

  • Now this is unfair, i just checked on net price on local warehouse the price for 4 of those batteries is about 40$, but an american net shop offers a 12pack for 40$. Aint buying shit from them.

  • How long does the battery last?

  • Just made one. Nice!

  • cool one dude...

  • Does he say "A couple of beers ago" at the start because it sounds like it to me

  • @19JP87 he said "A couple of years ago"

  • @Bullrider300 Thank-you for the clarification. I realised that. I was merely stating that it sounds like he says "beers"

  • @19JP87 he says years

  • @ThatsSoRaisin11 Thank-you for the clarification. I realised that. I was merely stating that it sounds like he says "beers".

  • or you could just put a 9 volt battery in it.

  • #LOL

  • :solong:

  • :spikesshutupandtakemymoney:

  • I have a white one of those... My girlfriend said it's so small but yet very strong and easy to handle. lmfao

  • @elmer123s u prob think it's brighter cuz this is shot on camera u need to see in rl to know how strong it is and I'm pretty sure if it was stronger it wouldn't be 4$s cuz it's for oil kids they wouldn't make something so storng it would blind a kid :)

  • How do u turn sucky things into awesome things

  • @TheLotsofgames with his pure awesomeness. he is chuck Norris's dad

  • wow you turn cool things into awesome things your vids are the best vids on youtube

  • KRYPTON <3

  • i bought a flashlight at lowes for 4 dollers and its brighter then all of those its only like 3 inches and it came with a flashlight keychain and im only 10

  • i think im'a try this out

  • keep up the ipod touch hacks

  • nice job

  • @IEnjoyBeinAlive that's a load a s@#%

  • awsome awsome vids i just cant stop watching this playlist :)

  • explain how its possible to hack a flashlight? You must be some sort of amazing to pull that off considering a flashlight is unhackable...

  • @RyanEDarras all you got to do is plug you computer into it and ummm download cheat master amd... ummmm ok maybe not

  • I love your videos!!!

  • I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very nice... I bought $50 led flashlight at the home depo it was pretty bright but a fucken cop stole it from when i was arrested.

  • You should put some of your stuff on ebay

  • should use a KPR118 (krypton) or XPR118 (xenon) bulb instead, as these are better designed for 9 volts. the KPR113 is only designed for 6 volts. technically both are over driven but the first two which are usually placed in flashlights using 6 D Cell Batteries (9 Volts) whereas the second one is designed for 4 D batteries (6 Volts). maybe then it wouldn't melt. idk just my thoughts.

  • If you were to say "Kryptonite" then I would laugh so hard

  • @jishan22 thumbs^

  • are $ 9.50

  • I did this hack and the batteries were $30

  • Of course it melted, you have 9 volts of power to a 6 volt light bulb!

  • first of all.. three of those batteries cost me $20. second, if you use it for more than a minute the lightbullb melts the cheap flashlite's bulb retainer. this did not work out for me..

  • Your using 3 x 3 volt batteries which equals 9 volts. Then you add a under sized bulb for 6 volts.

  • Hitler was like 0:23

  • @TrulyBrokenFan That was actually funny!

  • 0:12 amını :D

  • Substitute the plastic outside with a roll of cardboard. Make the contact with discared wiring, and while you at it, search in the dumpster for still usable batteries and steal the lightbulb from radio shack =_=

  • "Just not enough Jews."

    HAHAHA :D

  • @Russinoable well kipkay does save us money...

  • Where did you buy the flashlight

  • Thanks. That was En-lightening

  • This flashlight would be great for Alan wake! :D

  • just don't shine this thing at superman

  • sure fire sucks !!

  • @jonnytest55 HAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHHA You fail.

  • Good old black flashlight, blends in with the dark when you truly want it

  • so if you new that then why did you by the $95 one... dumb ass

  • i live in japan and there is no radio shack here, i bought some krypton bulbs but they keep on burning out, can anyone tell me what watts and amps are those bulbs are? thanks in advance

  • @dragonista2000 6000watts

  • @dragonista2000 First, kipkay's hack doesnot work AT ALL, he just makes them look better in the video n they suck.. secondly if u search in forums u get a better idea .. this guy is totally bullshit

  • you are the man

  • Great hack, Kip! Thanx for posting! I'm gonna do this one if I can find that particular flashlight.

  • hey can you teach me how to make flashlight using SSC P7 900 lumens LED that will work on flashlight case for AA batteries. =)

  • There is one catch to that hack. These krypton bulbs have high amperage and will drain the batteries vey fast. How I know? I tried it.

  • Fuck yeah!!!!

  • I see you have constructed a new light sabre, your skills are complete...

  • or go rack a good lamp losers

  • Or go to ebay and buy a cree LED for £3 and job done.

  • just my thoughts, it would be easier to get a led flashlight. i don't mean a cheapo type 3 aaa battery type that are sold everywhere. i'm talking the type that has a magnified lens. those things are bright, run off a standard battery, and require no drilling. good idea i guess.

  • wait wait wait!!!! you paid $95 for a flashlight?? what the hell is wrong with you??

  • @Blondepeoplerock Surefire (and streamlights) just work. If I'm using a light in conjunction with a firearm (the original intent of the surefire lights) it *better* work every single time. The point of the lights is for use in combat or self defense, not really as a camp light (though they will work for that, just expensive).

  • @Blondepeoplerock nope, its normal

$95 for a tool that always work

  • @PaperHeartZero I agree that hacking has a second meaning beyond just, computers. But the term cracking is one used for people doing hacking with the intention of harm. E.g. Making viruses. Calling hackers "crackers" is like accusing them of vandalism :-P

  • does the flashlight get really hot

  • you like radio shack alot

  • Hey there! Have you tried cleverous 402 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my cooworker lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • the bulb in my flashlight keeps blowing every time I turn it on. Did I get the wrong kind of bulb?

  • Comment removed

  • Is kipkay God?

  • all sticky and shit ahah

  • What to do with the other 90 bucks? Buy a drill and 5/8s in drill bit.

  • Uhhh. These videos are so damn pointless. We all know this would never work. Why make this video at all?

  • @Altair122122332345 i actually did that and it worked so hahaha in your face fucktard

  • @Altair122122332345 did you even try to make it? how do you, wait, "we all" know that this would never work? why dont you go try it instead of bashing it

  • man your videos are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • holy shit man your a genious

  • This is awesome! I'm going to try it. But I am concerned it won't have good battery life and that it may overheat fast. ? ? ?

  • K u make really kool things but .. How do u come up with making ALL this stuff like loool

  • Who the hell pays $95 for a flashlight?

  • @linuxguy2009 ... I pay $200 for ONE.

  • @linuxguy2009 actually, most flashlights cops have, movie theater lobby workers, and tons of construction and contract workers, all have flashlights that cost hundreds of dollars.

  • @Skreechchannel Yeah sure, OK.

  • brighter, maybe...but better performance? how about battery life???

    cool vid

  • the thing is, that flashlight is not as the $95 light. and it wont last long either. also, those batterys are like $7 a piece!

  • SHAVE YOUR GORILLA ARMS. Great video btw.

  • @RonomanCrew Are you 6?

  • This more than makes up for the "IR GOGGLES" lol great work

  • Then why didn't you just mod the Surefire?

  • So, can someone please tell me how the term "hack" came to mean "to modify?" I've always seen it as hacking away at a keyboard to get something, not "hacking" your flashlight with a new bulb and battery...

  • @HexExxon Hacking has always meant "to modify something to do what it was never designed to do." Hacking was later adopted to the computer world but it has always had a different meaning. Most "computer hackers" are more aptly referred to as "crackers" to those in the know.

  • why the fukk would i want to do this its just wastin ma time

    FUKK THE COPS

  • omg thank you! this is SO cool :D

  • Finally, one that I can actually do XD

  • I gotta try this, Thanks KipKay!

  • but will it blend?

  • @RonomanCrew wow such a creative comment, Did you think of that yourself? Dickhead.

  • @BreadForButter na ur mum told me last night

  • @RonomanCrew and another one. I can already tell either your a kid or you have the intelligence of a chair. Carry on with your pointless life you prick. Goodbye.

  • @BreadForButter i have the intelligence of your mum last night

  • @RonomanCrew another comment that doesn't make sense. Get off youtube and go back to school you might learn something

  • @BreadForButter sorry school isnt open, its the holidays. even if it was i would be too busy with your mum

  • or work extra 2 hours make that 90$ and go buy one without any other bullshit,,, cya going camping.

  • Nice, I'm doing it. Thanks!

  • You are epic just epic

  • I know a flashlight hack. Walk into a walmart, go to the flashlight isle, find a big one. Hack complete.

  • I tried this mod a while back and it really does work! Rather than buying separate 3v batteries, I bought a couple of 6v camera batteries and tore them apart. Cost about half as much. True, the plastic lens did warp a bit, but hey, it was cheap and fun to do. Plus it's cool to take it camping! Waaaay brighter than my Mag-Lite!

  • How long will that over volted lamp last?

  • Krypton flashlight lamp? Does it destroy Superman?

  • thello youtubers feel free to watch my all PTC HAck 2011 vid /watch?v=itbXxqCzuxE

  • I did this. But because the flashlight was so cheap when i replaced the bulb it melted the inside reflector in less than a minute.

  • Approximately how many lumens is the "hacked" flashlight? Please respond!

  • well, this is way outdated. You can get a better flashlight than that Surefire one for $10. Plus, those CR123 batteries are not that cheap. They are like $3 each.

  • 324 Cops are jealous

  • @Cxmputerz really?? i mean really??

  • actually those baterries are 10 dallars

  • @bob29562 i know man for 3 its like 30 dallars

  • I did exactley as you did on the video and my flashlight lasted about 5 min. bulb and lense burnd up =( It was very bright while it lasted.

  • @snowylumber Your flashlight was prob. of a cheaper plastic and wiring that overheated and couldn't handle the bulb.

  • Comment removed

  • are you serious? the lamp is 1.50? the ones i saw at my store were like 6 bucks and up

  • @pokemon2487 this is in 2007 btw.

  • hahaha this guy is cool :d

  • Kipkay plz do more hack pack i enjoy finding out how to make cool stuff with just house hold items

  • HAHA the ad next to this vid was a laser pointer shop :P
