Impacted anal glands... Needs a trip to a good groomer; they have the skills to properly "express" the anal glands. If they're not taken care of they can rupture and be a painful, bloody trip to the Vet... Cute doggie though...

I am an RN, but I have owned over 50 frenchies in 23 years. I breed/show/train them. This dog is suffering. There are a number of possibilities. Infected anal gland is probably my first guess, allergic reaction to something possibly the rug even, yeast or staff infection is possible, parasites less likely if dog is regularly vetted. Tail-less dogs frequently are prone to perineal herniations too. Something is just not right if this dog does this frequently.

His anal glands need to be cleaned. The vet tech can do it at low cost or you can do yourself at home. The internet has sites that show and explain how to do it.

Our frenchie does this sometimes too. He's got allergies and we've been trying different foods. He's been on a lamb raw food diet for 3-4 months now. His dry skin has cleared up, but he still itches sometimes. When he does, we put a little "Earthbath Hot Spot & Itch Relief - Tea Tree Oil" on him which seems to work.
Try feeding her a wheat-free formula, rice and sweet potato works best. California Natural and Wellness are two brands of food that have these chows.. try it.

Bulldogs can't bend to reach their behind when they have an itch. So they start "dancing". Every bulldog does it. It's not because the are ill. Dogs that are ill scoot over the floor by pulling themself forward with their front paws... like every dog that has problems with their anal sack or have worms. So this beauty is healthy, but has an itch, that he is scratching. ;)
Exactly what it sounds like. A sack which fills with extremely stinky fluid which must be drained. It is often times drained during grooming sessions. If you do not drain it, it can lead to problems. It can be done at home with proper instruction.

Nope! Actually most bulldog show this behaviour! I can tell you how many times we have been at different vets with our Frenchie,and there is nothing wrong!

Bulldogs can't bend to reach their behind when they have an itch. So they start "dancing". Every bulldog does it. It's not because the are ill. Dogs that are ill scoot over the floor by pulling themself forward with their front paws... like every dog that has problems with their anal sack or have worms. So this beauty is healthy, but has an itch, that he is scratching. ;)

Exactly what it sounds like. A sack which fills with extremely stinky fluid which must be drained. It is often times drained during grooming sessions. If you do not drain it, it can lead to problems. It can be done at home with proper instruction.

Seriously, my boyfriend´s dog did the same thing and it turned out he had anal worms, (from eating mostly human food)... :(

enough with the worm comments, leave this poor person alone. You are all wrong... I breed bulldogs, and i am also a dog groomer and manage a kennel. all bulldogs do this when they need their glands expressed or when the females are in heat. Most dogs who have worms have ribs showing because the worms suck all of their nutrition... this dog is perfectly healthy obviously doesn't have worms. out of my 8 bulldogs i have seen all of them do this from time to time.

Dear, Moron you obviously do not know anything about this type of dog. In fact this dog does not have worms and goes to the vet regularly where the vet proceeds to express her glands.
This dance that she does is a sign of when it is time to visit the vet.
