being a huge fan of theirs since revolver, then the whole back catalog, i wasn't really "finished" with versus when this one came out. my initial reaction was "wow. crap. they sold out and became like slipknot and korn. radio-friendly just on the sell-out side of the line." and i was pretty pissed. what's funny is how solid this disc is. it's like they looked at all that weaker-than metal and went "HERE. THIS is how you do it." lesson learned i hope.
@worldrummer This is the only song I like off the album because it reminds me alot of The Dead Eye, I love their faster pace shit but The Dead Eye holds a special place in my musical heart lol. Good shit.
@worldrummer I think that the dead eye is a masterpiece, and the best that the band has produced so far. So freaking dynamic and great in so many aspects
