oh sorry i should have gotten a picture of the other side ..i beef up all the soder traces to handle more ampes too...these controllers at least my stock one on my 500 plus is a work horse..iv had no problems in the past year even with the short shunt iv put in..i love the 500 plus its a little scooter in size but it goes like stink with 60 volts lithium..
Yep, my (wife's) GIO motor doesn't even get warm when we both ride on it ;-) I hope to get Lipos in this year when the winter is gone ;-) I really do like the GIO's and if I can afford, I am going to buy one of your the GIO W800 for myself :-)) Will you still do the video of your wiring work?
@DirkME1022 yes ill get in there.. ill make a video soon..the 500 plus video of me riding around will have too wait till snow and ice is melted around here..vancouver canada......i just got my charger for my lifepo4 battery ..the stock one quit after the 4th charge..i bought a good one from florida..and im still waiting for another stock one from china..two chargers is the way too go..in case of malfunction
this controller is for my brother..i used the exact curtain hook on my controller...the gio 500 plus controller has two shunts you put in a third shunt..the 350 500 plus controller has one shunt you put in a second..im not worried at the most it will double my ampes and i will not use any connectors going to the motor..ill cut them off and hard wire all motor leads..these gio motors are the best ting on these bikes they can handle much voltage and ampes
Hi, you got to watch this, if you do to much of a shunt, it might let through everything your battery can give and that can burn almost anything where it runs to.
On the GIO Website Forum is somebody who explained that and he did a far too big shunt in the first place and changed it back to a 15 amp shunt. If you like to get the link I will PM you. Otherwise, let us now how it goes :-)) Oh, and for whom is that controller?
