You know, you can see the difference in culture between KNBC's Image promotion and WNBC's Image Promotions. Our coasts are totally different societies.
Agreed...considering the chimes are known by everyone and their mother, it's actually rather baffling that they didn't use them. Then again, NBC's network shows are rated so low that the station may be deliberately wanting to focus on the local product and try to distance itself from the network. I know it's a wild stab in the dark, but something has to explain why the chimes aren't there.
