Very true. He tried walking a thin line between the gang culture out here in LA and being a lyricist. That style works in NY, but not out here. Any form of lyricism goes over peoples heads in LA, theres no appreciation for it....which is I've always thought was LAME.
Crooked I is another cat who tries to walk that fine line and kinda suffers from the same failures....only thing that saved him was him hooking up with the right cats and made to Slaughter House crew.
