Thank you for sharing....A few questions.. Is this product available at Home Centers for "do-it-yourselfers"? Is this only sold to building contractors?

Failure in the floor and structure in a fire. Failure that has a potential to kill anyone that is trapped. Building Codes should outlaw these and open web floor joist. Watch the video good and replay it if you did not hear what is holding the web members togethers or for attaching them to the foundation.

@Mr8otter I agree as a framer when I was going through my apprenticeship we would be on job sites with I-Joist all the time. I slipped and feel when walking across these things AFTER THEY WERE SET!!! The feel cheap and they wiggle like hell. I haven't worked with any open web systems but I just looking at an open web you could see how fast they could spread fire to a second floor of a building.
