straps are used in constructuion all the time. this is nothing new. You are using the strasps in wrong places. straps are good in tension only. In compression they buckle. putting them in construction members is a waste of time and money.
After securing a 5hr. Public Events Approval, I brought some of my proptotypes and written works to the Az. State Capitol to make some presentations and to show Audiences how strong Structural Strap-Nets Reinforcing is!!
I must have drop-slammed one of my test-frames at least 30 times, with absolute success each force-impact crash!!
The test-frame was a hit with most, and fooled some when I asked if they thought my test-frame would break apart or not!! Most said it would break.
This Public Presentation was made possible through the Arizona State Congress and Capitol Grounds Public Events Staff and Administration, and many thanks to them for allowing this 5-hour showcasing of a Technological Breakthrough!!
I received various questions and comments from a variety of People, mostly in a positive feedback and encouragements, after each successful crash-test, to continue introducing this new Structural Reinforcing Method and Technology!!
As a kid growing up in the Great Southwest, in a Construction Trades and Factory Assembler Blue-Collar Family, I naturally got interseted in building and assembling things;
My favorites were Lincoln Logs, Lego Blocks, and especially Hot Wheel Tracks!!! Was constantly complimented on my 'creativity' and put together some quite elaborate and complex assemblages.
I have taken my early passions to new extremes with steel strapping, and hope you enjoy this technology breakthrough!
meant compression members instead of constructuion members

I am sooooo NOT photogenic!!
But, until someone who is good at PR jumps on this bandwagon, I'm the PR Person y'all get!!
This presentation is an expanded from our Trade Show Exhibit booth setup.
It was nice to be outdoors, grabbing some sun on this January day.
Had some positive responses from some Az. Legislators, Passer-bys, and Visitors to the Capitol, hope it continues!!
God Bless and Speed;
