It is a real pity that George Bizet is no more....had he lived to see and hear this great baritone (I believe Mr. Liao Changyong is a heldentenor) from the far east China (the exact location of Turandoht) he should have been exalted.....as I am an Indian and live geopraphically closer to Mr. Liao Changyong, I take the maximum pride in the quality of Mr. Liao Changyong's performance....a baritone-tenor myself, I wish one day I can command such vocal prowess.

@LordHettrick Ah, no, this is Liao Changyong. Shenyang is a bass-baritone, and is a lot harder to miss (he's 6'4 and quite solidly-built).

See, the geniuses and simply talented people are born in every generation, they just need to be properly trained to shine with their talents. Nowadays China is more open than ever before, so their talents got thier chances. I think we'll see more and more chinese singers with the course of time. Liao Changyong is just one of the first.
