Pues a mí me gustó mucho pero sobre todo me sorprendió cuando la vi después de los Goya. Tiene ritmo, algunas escenas impactantes, EXCELENTES interpretaciones y el guión esta muy bien aunque se dispersa a veces, pero tiene fuerza. Si te gustó El laberinto del Fauno pues es de ese rollo aunque más oscura, pero sin temas fantásticos. La polémica es absurda; la película es en catalán, se dobla a castellano para los que no lo entienden, pero en este país se debería fomentar más las películas en V.O.

I just watched the film today it was in Catalan with English subtitles, I wanted to know Catalan I know I missed part of the film. Subs are not always accurate.

Not only offensive, but also a pity. Regardless of any political views, the original's in Catalan, and the Spanish version has all the loss of quality a dub conveys. The children's accent, a genuine Catalan one full with cute expressions, gets lost when dubbed into Spanish. I can see why the film's been dubbed into Spanish for non-eastern Spain, but it defnitely should be in Catalan elsewhere for the sake of the film. If some Spaniards can't feel a Catalan film as theirs, that's their problem.

translating the film in spanish is a way to show to the world how poor is spain in all the aspects. Yes, face the truth, we are in a country that prefers to loose and kill a language, only to "keep" their unity, when the only thing that that they recieve is division. What I think is, that spanish people still have a sort of an aversion to the catalan language, which was imposed in the reign in the time of Francisco Franco when all use of the catalan language was banded, so aldo it's use is permitted now Spain prefers to be presented in spanish! I think that is wrong , because if I want to watch a french movie I would Like to watch it in French not in German!

@AbcSchoolOfPolish entiendo que la mires en español, pero pierdes toda la esencia, los dos niños pequeños hablan un catalan super cerrado que es parte de la epoca, es parte del mensaje de la pelicula. El tema es que si van a poner la peli subtitulada de todas formas, que la pongan en catalan. Esto lo hacen para joder, te lo digo de primera mano, soy catalana y estamos hartos de estas actitudes. mucha gente no come productos españoles como fuet o cava, incluso leche si esta hecha aqui.

@arsenogue No se trata de lenguas oficiales de un estado ni de vender más o menos, sino de arte cinematrográfico. A quien le gusta el cine lo mira en inglés, ruso, chino, japonés o suajili (con subtitulos para entenderlo).

@ah123abc Originally is in catalan. Read their lips and u will c. the film has been done in catalan, catalan actors and catalan director. Unfortunatly they doubled in spanish so this the film can arrive places it wouldn't, like spain and southamerica. I do argree that a film is always better in original version, in this case in catalan. By the way proud to say i am catalan too.

@doumuu they are not kidding, in europe they alaways dubbing movies, means it dedicated for their own people. english movie dubbed in german in germany, so catalan movie dubbed in castellano in Spain. so u should wonder why do the catalans doesnt upload a real official trailer in catala on youtube! :) recheck, then complain!! tot be amic meu??

I balled my eyes out. Very touching. And I like all of the symbolism exposed in this film. My favorite scene is when the Andreu gives chocolate to the angel guy and hugs him because he's going to spread his wings... completely.

You have to watch it to get it.
