The IPSW that I download from your page isnt being recognized by redsnow or itunes. I changed the extension from .zip to .ipsw as you have stated. I have a 4.0.2 (3G - 16GB) Iphone and the computer is a windows XP. Any suggestions for me?

Hey iGrappo, great tutorial, but just a few problems I have had....a) everytime I try jailbreaking my iPhone, I can never keep it on the same screen that it has after you downgrade it....with the connection wire to the iTunes logo, and then the emergency calls only...it goes straight onto my start up screen, is it maybe because I have an unooficial sim-card in, was I supposed to leave the official one in...Another thingwould then be, nearing the end, it remains on waiting to reboot, black screen

@jakebo17 hey man ... you need to Jailbreak inorder to get Cydia on you iPhone. its NOT an Applications. Its a Jailbreak Utility which you can only get my Jailbreaking you Iphone. follow the instructions to Jailbreak or Unlock you Iphone.
