That made me think of roleplaying so much. I had this character I based off of another character and at first, he was just...a complete rip-off of that character in appearance and behavior. But as time went on and he developed as his own character, his looks not only changed almost entirely, but his personality did as well. That's why I love to write and roleplay. If you get a character who lasts long enough for plot and story to develop, over time, you will get to watch him literally grow up.

How cool. I always knew Miss Rice considered Lestat to be kind of a darker half of herslef, but now it's cool to learn she based him on her husband. So Lestat is a piece of each of them. How neat ^.^
You created some out of this world characters that I believe no one could of done except you. The originality of your characters just stuns people and you choose to make your characters so attractive, powerful and beautiful. Lestat of course being one of your most interesting of all. Truly a character created from you heart. I have always been inspired. As a director in film and animation, it would be a dream to bring your stories/characters to life. A Dream!
I agree and wonder the same, yet there are some things too personal to spell out directly, however nothing can be more personal/intimate than the works themselves. Her writing speaks volumes, and lets you interpret in multiple ways.
