Dave and Bob, i had the pleasure to spend some time in Mt. Vernon Ohio with Chuck Flynn at his guitar shop in the evenings. Never had the pleasure to hear you both play till now --- this is great ! Chuck has many fine memories of your original Coal Miners and you guys.
lorrrrrrrrrrd how this song brings tears to my eyes...one of my favorite songs to be danced with on the dance floor in a good ol' fashioned country saloon...thank yall so much for doing this...beautiful song
I miss John Hughey. I met him at the Nat'l Steel guitar convention, for several years he came to New Philadelphia, Ohio, along with Herby Wallace and other great steel players. John will always have a special memory in my mind. His style is like no other. Rest in peace Papa John.
Wow What a great tribute.. I met Bobby in a club in Nashville one night and I made a complete foll of my self. None the less Bobby great job...You da man..Al Bradshaw
what a great tribute guys.Bob you sound great as always.I know there is no one John would rather have play his great solo than you, after all the years and miles you shared together. Greg Moody
Great job guys...I put the steel up for 20 years and just breaking it back out after a Ricky Davis upgrade....tough on a banjo player to hear Bob play so slick....John would be proud...
My wife sings that tune in our band and I get to play all of John's parts. I still can't stop the tears from coming everytime we do it. Great Job guys! I loved it.
I'm back in Nashville. Had to go back to be near my kids and grandkids. Don't play much, anymore. I lost your # a couple years ago when my hard drive crashed on my computer. My cell# is the same as the one I gave you, years ago.
Bob and Dave: A beautiful tribute , indeed, to John, my idol , Bob, I could almost hear john playing your steel.; closest I've heard anyone play to his talent on steel. Fantastic is the nicest word I can come up with..You did a fine job, too, Dave..thanks..Bernie
This is the best steel solo of all time.

HOW SWEET, GENTLEMEN!
John Hughey made the steel
guitar shiver, and I salute your
style, Bob! Hats-off to you,
too, Dave!
Perhaps you two could also make
a video tribute to Tom Brumley
as he recently passed away.
I would love to see that, too!
THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU!

Thanks to you! Tom was a dear friend, also, and a great stylist and player. Who knows? We might try something like that
