these are only a few of many ships. nobody knows how many shipwrecks there are but from 1450 when ships started to become more documents to the year 2,000 at least 1 million shipwrecks have been recorded. by the 1960's shipwrecks started becoming much more rare however for 400 years about 5-6 ships were sinking a day. since 2000 at least 5,000 more have been reported and about 500 people die every year still from shipwrecks worldwide.

Geneva Convention was not in place when Lusitania was sunk by a U-Boat. And, Geneva Convention only implies prisoners of war.

Lusitania was a supply ship and was an active target for U-Boats. If the U-Boat had Lusitania not on the list as a supply ship it would never have been attacked.

Lusitania was in violation of suppling arms in times of war. And, that was established by League of Nations.

my great great grandmother blames the crew of titanic for laughing at the warning of a medical ship that says that the titanic must lower it's speed because many icebergs is on it's path great great grandma state that the medical ship is only traveling 1/4 of the speed of titanic.Ironically the same ship who arrived shortly after the titanic sinks save it's survivors of 704 persons and 1 dog!
