  • May as well look on eBay a couple hundred you can get the real deal with all of the Kevlar in it

  • Nice vest you have there, I had this vest in UCP, the most comfortable body armor I ever tryed, I don't know why I sold it. (I also have a PACA, british body armour...)

  • @DreisSniper Yeah, they definitely are quite snug when they are fitted just right, my complaint with it though is that it doesn't breathe very well at all. With a T-shirt, ACU jacket, and this on top, it gets pretty hot pretty fast. I am looking more into things like the CIRAS or the RRV.

  • @Martzx3193 Haha, true, I suffered that as well... your t-shirt ends up like a wet raisin. Its almost as hot in there as in a ghillie suit.

  • i got lucky and got mine on craigslist with the hevlar armor inside it for $25. i just dont have the groin protector, But is this vest compatible with the bicep protectors?

  • @EnforcerAirsoft I don't know really, there are other pieces that include shoulder and under arm protection as well as side plates. I think the shoulder protection is the closest hing that comes to protecting the biceps. I could be wrong though.

  • @Martzx3193 well thats wat in talkin is the shoulder peices but they cover more of ur biceps so i figured i would call them that.but i did find some online that actualy will fit the vest. on the vest there should be a square velcro panel under each shoulder and thats how the ones i found would fit on.

  • @EnforcerAirsoft That is good, I've wanted to complete the whole vest system, but I am switching over to a different vest for a new kit.

  • @Martzx3193 thats good that u upgrading, i just like the older stuff thats seen action, some people can feel the history in somethin

  • @EnforcerAirsoft Definitely. I still like using the old woodland fatigues with ALICE and LBE gear and the old PASGT helmet from time to time. I would like the PASGT vest for a 1990s US Army kit, but they are a bit outdated and the money can be used for more practical airsoft necessities.

  • @Martzx3193 yea im tryin to find some molle pouches to put on this vest and i cant find wat im lookin for.so im probly gonna hit up the surplus store tomorrow

  • @EnforcerAirsoft I got the majority of my pouches off of ebay, they have some really good deals there!

  • @Martzx3193 ok ill give that a shot, i might end up just getting a chest rig to wear over it though

  • to complete it youll need the neck protector and the groin as well, they didnt make side sapi carrier until it was put into coyote brown

  • @operative01 Yep, the groin protector and Throat guard did come with it, but the actual yoke collar assembly didn't. They are a pain to find online and usually go for unreasonable prices. I am actually going to stop using this vest in place of something a bit newer.

  • Sup guys,

I'm a Lance corporal in the USMC my job is 0331 machine gunner ,Im an avid air softer and gear queer! So if you guys are doing your airsofting and playing certain servicemen ask me any question i know all issued gear backwards and forward not im not selling anything no im not making fun. Actually I'm sick of everyone wearing army or multicam shit, no one ever wears proper marine attire those who try don't do it right! If you want to properly be a poser ask me! (I was one as well)!

  • @operative01 I wear Marine gear right... Except I've taken all the US Marines Tapes and stuff off. All my gear is issued and I actually love the Marine Corps. The army is pretty gay and so is ACUPAT. Thanks for what you've done though. I'm going 0311 in 3 years...

  • @operative01 Thank you for your service. Gear is always a fun hobby, nice to have airsofters in the services!

  • @operative01 Haha ok nice dude.

  • @operative01 i am tryin to portray marine corps infantry and was wondering if you could help me out on some things i would need to complete.

  • can provide the link to the vest me and my squad are assembling are 03 US military impressions and we have the BDU's thehelmet and cover well we have everything but the vest and pouches also the butt pack

  • @jedimaster8758 Sure thing.

  • How long did it take for it to ship out?

  • @GP3PocketSnare A day or two, it arrived within a week.

  • I want that sooooooo bad!!!! :D everytime I watch this I want it more and more!

  • @215rant It was a good price on that entrygear, about 50 or 60 dollars or so.

  • yo im getting it for airsoft on the same website

  • @armyguy237 I am sure you will be satisfied with it. Also, I took a look at some of your videos, not bad going for the Army however, it is usually not such a good idea to have unit and rank or specialty tabs as you most likely did not earn them or are in the armed forces... I would suggest that you don't use them.

  • i just bought a vest but it is not a tactical vest it sorta is has compartments but anyway i want to convert it to have the MOLLE do you think id be able to buy web straps and sew them on the front?

  • @wolfcookieo9 I honestly would have no idea on how to add straps or convert to MOLLE. It would take a good amount of experience with stitching and lining it up just right.

  • I have an acu point blank interceptor body armor vest with Kevlar inserts for sale in medium size. My brother who's on the navy swapped kit in Iraq with a Us soldier...any offers?? Let me know and I'll post my email

  • @TheCladers I definitely would like one, but I don't have any money, thanks for the offer though.

  • Canteen covers go on back!

  • @ppspsd I have the old fashioned ALICE clips canteen covers, I prefer not to have them on the back as to have room for my camelbak.

  • thats funny cause i bought my for 75 with 3a in it haha

  • @thebrowncow007 Lucky man, I'm guessing it was a Point Blank one, those are quite rare, and waiting for them at a decent price on ebay gets sort of tedious, the SDS one works fine. You can put 3a in it if you want, but since kevlar inserts are that necessary for airsoft, I just made some custom foam inserts and they work perfectly.

  • @Martzx3193 yea 'its point blank but i have an iotv and its 10x better than the old iba my pro is its acu

  • @thebrowncow007 The IOTV is pretty nice, but looks kind of bulky, the cummberbund and side plates as well as the quick release make it much more advanced then the old IBA. I'm not really that much of a fan of the new digital pattern, the ACU uniform cut is very nice though.

  • @Martzx3193 i dont think any one is yea its kind of bulky but very nice fits like a glove but i have od green pouches on my so its not to bad for it being all acu but the vest is a must have to have side plates

  • oh yeah, and i can also try and hook you up with a woodland collar! just let me know...

  • @badmintonho I would like one, but I can't be doing any buying off the internet like classifieds, it has to be from a site or something, thanks for the offer though.

  • if you're willing to spend a good 250$ or so, i can link you some medium iba inserts from a guy on ebay. however, to find the inserts alone for a lower price, it's tough!

  • @badmintonho I believe I may have seen the same ones, they are definitely not cheap, I think I may stick to making my own inserts as I could drop that kind of cash into a new airsoft rifle or loads of other gear.

  • @Martzx3193 lol i just checked they are actually $210 including shipping. but yea i agree it's quite expensive...i have a size small vest and i happened to get my inserts for $60. they are old and dated 03, but nonetheless...lol im thinking of sellin my gear sometime.

  • @badmintonho I may be able to get lucky if I were to drop by a surplus store, but they usually don't have much other than BDU's and basic Load bearing gear and tons of airsoft and paintball stuff.

  • Is that the same vest as the Interceptor OTV only in woodland? 'Cuse a shop I know has a complete body armor vest (without armor though... shame) called Interceptor OTV in Khaki/coyote with shoulder & groin cover wich can be removed.

  • Ah, you said that:P I have a habit of commenting before finishing the video... Great review btw! Thanks!

  • @SWEsuger No problem man, it's what I'm here for! =)

  • Can you load this vest up with MOLLE pouches even if you don't have any soft armor inserts? Will it be flimsy without armor?

  • Yeah you can put MOLLE Pouches on it, it really isn't that flimsy when you have it on, it stays on you and doesn't move much, it is really light that way. It just doesn't "fill" much without any form of armor, probably why it looks so huge on the soldiers and marines who wore them, because I'm sure the kevlar soft inserts was quite thick and dense and then adding the plates, even more so. But yes, the MOLLE pouches will easily go on this vest, there isn't a lot of straps compared to other vests.

  • maries use the eagle industries ciras

  • So I've heard, I'm only going off of news footage and pictures of Standard marine grunts, I've always seen either the IBA or the MTV on them. I figured the EI CIRAS was reserved exclusively for more specialized groups.
