@NorthWestVideos Hi thanks for the comment. I'm not sure if I'll have time to post and videos anytime soon, I'm too busy with work and domestic responsibilities at the moment
I must have missed this last year? Most enjoyable I've just watched Pauls video of Kilmore Quay too and seeing all these blue skies I feel in dire need getting away from it all.
@myjugsarehuge Yeah Paul's video is excellent. If its any consolation, the weather is supposed to be good over the next few days - make the most of it!
It's gonna take one heckuva storm to move that light ship now!
Always interesting to see the different styles of small fishing boats from one area to another. The variety seems to be endless to an object that really only has one purpose. Keeping its occupants dry!
I think its safe to assume that The Guillemot is at her final home now.
For me though, she still looks weird at Kilmore Quay as she was such a fixture in Wexford. I remember as a teenager my friends and a I sneaking aboard her to hang out on the starboard side, away from the eyes of authority (and parents). She's a great old ship.
That's a good memory. We all have those memories that may not mean as much to strangers, but bring a gleam back into our eyes especially when discussed with our mates.
I think I saw myself in 1 of those shots. It was a great afternoon, wasn't it! I've a feeling I'll be replaying that a lot in the winter to remind myself of brighter, warmer days. Hey, you could sell this to the Tourist Board!

Where's all the ice-pop wrappers, beer cans, old boots, and fishing line killing the wildlife? xD.

My family and I spent two nights at Kilmore Quay in 2007. Your video did a fine job of reminding me what a wonderful place it is. Thanks.

Excellent work. John!
The Kilmore 'streets' shots came out really well, including the thatched houses. Many a time I've had a pint in the ''Wooden House!
