If marijuana is to remain illegal, then alcohol should be illegal. It's really a matter of common sense, put 100 stoners in a room and 100 drunks in a room under observation, and see which one is safer. I've never seen anyone do something stoned that they regret the next day, unlike alcohol. In my opinion the best way to get off them, is get away from the 'source' and the pills themselves, y'know, stay a couple weeks at family or somewhere you don't have access...well...easy access to them, lol. And you may be right about getting away from the source. I quiet pills once cause I just felt disgusted with myself. I had been on them for about 3 months. I went to my parents house and dried out. I stayed clean for 5 months and than decided I would take a dose just one time and let that be it. That was 2 years ago and I've took em everyday since

Partially agree with you there- Whilst I think the "cannabis is natural so legalize" argument is stupid (natural too is the opium poppy, datura, and coca) I also think that the psilocybe cubensis (most common psychedelic mushroom) is not harmful if taken in the right set and setting. It's not addictive and not demonstrably neurologically damaging.

Just to shed some light, morphine comes from the opium plant, you can take it safely everyday of your life. Also, the coca plant is more medicinal than the cannibus plant, to make cocaine from coca, you have to add dangerous chemicals.

You can't possibly believe that, can you? There hasn't exactly been extensive research into it, but there is plenty of evidence that frequent use has at least some vague negative effects.

Also the definition of a drug is any substance which alters the normal functioning of the human body, so marijuana is a drug. So is caffeine, so is alcohol, so are cigarettes, so are magic mushrooms.

It took a long time to convince my 89 year old mom to try cannabis for her intractable pain, insomnia and depression, but I was able to get her some cannabis brownies which she did finally try, and the effects were amazing. She could sleep, her pain was manageable, and we could have happy long conversations again. Cannabis made the last few months of her life worth living. I will do everything I can to make this medicine legal. Thank you for posting this video.
