A wonderful series, a lot of fun to watch.

The first time I watched it, I watched in air date order... but Chronological the second.

Although I know the air date order had significance... I enjoyed the Chronological ordering more.

Good question. Welll...I'm investigating the one episode I previously couldn't find right now. I haven't seen episode 14 yet and I've been wanting to since I think I've seen all others. 14 explains what goes on here, it also makes Haruhi aware of her power.

In episode 14 Haruhi asks what they should dress her up as next. Bunny Girl? Kitty Ears? Nurse outfit? When she goes into the closed space she dreams about Mikuru in the nurse outfit I guess and nurse wins the bet. Watch episode 14 and it'll make sense.

Not at all. A lot of animes are better in Japanese because American voice actors are either god-awful or they some how don't give it the same feel or some other reason.

Actually, i prefer watching animes in Japanese.

I like dubbed ones for when i'm too lazy to squint at the screen.
