I think Sanguine sky sounds better here.I dont say Mary sings this song better.I say this version is different.And better.The problem is that Mary isnt Vibeke.She´s good singer,but Tristania isnt Tristania.I like Mary more than Anette from Nightwish.Anette doesnt seem to me a good singer and she´s not likable to me.But this is another problem.NW have good songs but a bad singer.Tristania has a good singer but the new songs I do not like.There isnt such a good atmosphere in songs of both bands.

She can sing metal, and she is obviously not much of an operatic vocalist so comparisons to Vikbeke are nonsensical. Accusations of her being Pop? Meh, that is subjective so you're not really saying much for or against her ability to sing these songs. She is different, and hard core fans are always scared shitless of change and scorn the added parts with bitter passion

While Mariangela is a good singer I do miss Vibeke's voice. :( It is not going to be as haunting and cathartic without her presence. With Nightwish when I first heard Anette I was disappointed as well, but then her voice really grew on me and I love it now. With Tristania though, they had this certain vibe to their music that was really predicated on Vibeke's ghostly voice.

First of all, they are not, and were not vibeke's songs. They are Tristania's songs. Vibke did not sing like a metal singer, she sang like a opera singer. Very beautifully and unique I must say! BUT Tristania WANTED someone with a new sound to sing THEIR songs. So all their albums don't sound the same.Lets face it, you cant make everyone happy! I infact am really anticipating the new album and would love to see them live.Mary's voice is beautifully darker and will take them to a whole new realm!
