God, Franti's set was so good. What a fantastic crowd for that bit. I posted a video from that set (not great sound), that shows the crowd, plus one of the song where all the little kids came on stage. Such a wonderful vibe!
I really didn't like the mud, but I found it oddly fascinating and it made for a memorable day.
The Austin newspaper, of course, featured a pic of teens covered head-to-toe in mud, but obviously that was not the norm.
Shot this simple little video (on compact Canon SD1100) just to give a sense of what it looked like for normal people walking around. Quite a few people ditched their shoes entirely. I went with mud boots, which made it tolerable.
