I don't usually subscribe to anything. I HAD to for this.. you are helping me out so much. It may be a slow process for me but I'm getting it ..and I have a lot more to look forward to. Thank you so much for making this videos.
in school i learned first to work with "printf", but then in the next course i learned "cout", my question is Can I use it in this compiler? (How?), and my other question is: Can You tell me the difference beetween float and double?
THANKS for your help! keep doing vids pls! :D BYE!
@Kivencito I thought cout was more of a C++ thing. If you want to work in C++ you can create a new Command Line Tool project with C++ and there you can use cout. I'm pretty sure that cout is part of the iostream library in C++, but I could be wrong. The difference between a float and double is that a double can simply hold more information, it has more bytes and therefore is more accurate with decimal numbers.
These videos are very nice. I've already had a class in C, but I do need a little bit of a refresher before I jump into a job where I will be using it everyday.
@ankitravankar The console is just program output, so it's a unix executable file located in your project folder>build>Debug. If you want to save it you can simply copy and paste output. Your actual code is saved as a .c file extension.
Hey, i'm really enjoying your videos, i just had a few questions. what does the semi colons at the end of a line of code mean? and how long did it take for you to learn C?
@hyunhoshin The semi colon means that you are done with that statement, it's just what tells the compiler that that section of code is done. You will get it after a while. I can't say that I have "learned" C, since there are tons of things to learn in computer languages. To learn all of the stuff in these tutorials and understand how to do it took a few months. It really depends on how much time you spend learning the material.
these videos are awesome. i started teaching myself C a while ago and you ARE making it enjoyable and this helps me relearn what i had to originally read in the books
You are helping me REALLY much. I mean it! Keep moving this on, it's great and you teach in a very simple way.
