maybe 200 extras , funny thinking how all the extras wher hassling to be in the best camera shoot, and you can't see anyone except the leads. And the red head actor is a great guy i ve worked with him before and this week , funny bloke .

B/c me and some of my friends have our doubts that the actors are actually on the USYD campus as opposed to just composited onto the background.

To be honest I think it is, I mean when we heard that he was going to be on a Verizon Wireless Cell Phone commercial ( because he is in acting classes at the college he goes to ). He DID go to Australia for a fact, but to film the entire thing, that I'm not entirely sure. Because he was selected from his acting course to be in the commercial when auditions came around.

One thing he said though was that Australian people aren't much different than us, and their accent is extremely hyped.

Oh, that's fine. I spent 8 months in the country last year and lived only 5 minutes where some of the scenes were filmed. I graduated from the University at which the commercial is (supposedly) filmed. So, I have no problems with the accents.

When I saw the ad on TV I literally did the biggest double take in the world. My friends and I want to find out if the commercial was actually filmed at USYD or not.

it was all done on the campus, I was involved with the filming . We also shot at la Peruse Beach and a house in the inner west of Sydney.

Maybe they are making multiple versions of the commercial.
