Whoever believes that the Tower of Babel story is true is an idiot. Languages have evolved in RECORDED HISTORY. Try reading "Beowulf" in its original Old English form. Old English is more similar to German than it is to modern English. It is ridiculous to think that an all-powerful god would be threatened by people building a stupid tower. Then he allows each group to multiply so that each group has enough people to build many Towers of Babel. Then for some reason god abandons the scatter tactic
