  • One in four of his gags are actually really good, but it's all a bit forced.

  • I think they are friends.. no way those that Kracker Ass Show would let a brother on the show for so long..

  • J J still goofy lol

  • this is 84 man.

  • @20yoseph HE ACTUALLY LOST WEIGHT HE WAS BIGGER.

  • DYNOMITE !!!!!

  • Letterman looks annoyed in this, like Walker isnt funny.

  • Great channel we love your videos... check out our new videos

  • search bolder gazet van antwerpen

  • he look absolurely great

  • Wow, the stars of Good Times look great. I hope I look good as that when I reach my 50's.

  • WOW, Dave Chappelle looks the same as he did 35 years ago.

  • still sounds like the jj we all know

  • @marshmallowman921 Amen, right?

  • People do realize he is college educated, he and JJ are not the same person. My mom knows him personally, and one thing he always said he hated was the stereotypes in Hollywood. Watch Hollywood Shuffle it depicts those stereotypes in Hollywood excellent.

  • This was filmed in 88' much love

  • he is so silly!!! lol

  • This was probably broadcast in the early 1990s.

  • he still thinks this is good times

  • You should really include a broadcast date in your description. There's no way that Jimmie Walker or David Letterman (or Keith Richards) were this young in 2006.

  • WTF is his problem?! Dave ain't said two words since this fool sat down! Someone needs to tap him on the shoulder and tell him it is no longer 1974!!!!

  • @MichaelsLovely1 lol what do you mean?

  • I never liked this clown! Not even when he was on "Good Times" the reason John Amos left is because he wanted a more serious subject matter and not so much focus on this fools retardation fits he would have.

  • @MichaelsLovely1 ..

    .

J W was the modern day replacement for Stepin Fetchit.

    ,

His not funny. His joke fall flat and the most fans he has these days are white folks that feel comfortable with his brand of so called comic entertainment from a black has been comedian.

    .

John Amos left the show early because he knew what was really the point of the T.V. executives keeping the JJ character prominent in "Good times".

    .

Hate me for telling the truth but it is the truth.

  • what a fuck wit. this man should of retired from after good times and got a normal job.

  • @SuperHefner Doing what, shining shoes?

  • He's a damn riot

  • Jimmie Walker is one of theee Best !!

    A True ♔ King of Comedy !!

  • Jimmie still sounds the same and looks the same, well heavier of course.

But his youth and whatever comedy appeal he ever had, are long gone.

  • I love this man. He is smart and still sound the same. God bless you Jimmy Walker.

  • Love him!!!! Coming to Birmingham, Al March 31st- April 1st , 2011 i will be there.

  • looks almost the same since good times !! the way he looks now is embarrassing. this is one of his last good interviews. go watch him on letterman in 2009 its hard to watch

  • @KingOgre666 what happened to him ??

  • @dodadance84 he gained a lot of weight and its hard to understand what hes saying. i think he had a stroke or heart attack.

  • what's wrong with him??? he is so cocky. He was partly responsible for the buffoonery of the last few seasons of Good Times.

  • Whats with Jimmy Walkers ego? He is not even funny.. He was great on Good Times. But here on Letterman, no one is laughing, he is laughing at his own bad, bad joke. Very sad and yes embarrassing... the Rolling stones his man/men? his Mike Tyson joke got zero laughs...

His ego has crashed landed in flames........

  • Yuk! Hard to watch this. Embarrasing!

  • JJ always had this thing about him where he would say somthing funny, then start chewing an imaginary piece of gum...he still does that

  • LMAO he got black as shit over the years

  • Goodness me,he can talk for america..the host can't even get a word in edgeways but he can get away with it cz he's Jimmie Walker

  • I BET JJ IS HUNG LIKE A HORSE JINGLE JUNK=JJ LOL

  • @thebigrene1972 Actually JJ didnt want his character like that or John Amos

  • Speaking of ugly.........THE ROLLING STONES!!! Now THAT'S some ugly for ya.

  • hes so funny

  • I thought that he would have to do ALOT of work to act like JJ because JJ is silly (In a Funny, Happy, AMAZING, JJ Like way !)

But he is Suprisingly VERY similar to his Character :P

  • he is still JAY JAY

  • He is awsome so funny lollol luv good times

  • these same people who are putting jimmy down...they know they watch the GOOD TIMES MARATHON,each time it airs....so there....STFU... jimmy is funny

  • I see why this idiots stand-up career never took off. He isn't funny in the least! He is a stuttering, stammering, buffoon and a clown. The very worst kind of "Black" so-called entertainer. A true embarassment, and I don't blame a real man like John Amos for leaving a formerly good program which became a coonery fest of the worst stereotypes behind! Jimmy Walker.....you are a clown and a buffoon! Pure coonery!

  • @mrbrandon71 John Amos left cause the writer / producers not because Jimmie Walker but because of his char he played

  • @clawbear that is what I meant. I thought that would be fairly evident to most adults. *eye roll*

  • @mrbrandon71 As a black guy, I couldn't agree with you more. Buffoonery at its worst. My grandmother could not stand Jimmie Walker. I met him as a teenager and he was very arrogant and full of himself. He looks like a salamander!

  • Shuckin' and jivin' and COONIN' for the white folks. Such a damned fool.

  • Not ugly? He is ugly as hell! Absolute ugly as hell!

  • @mrbrandon71 No he Aint !

You must be looking outta your Ass cause i no im looking through my Eyes and i can see he aint ugly !

  • @FillionDollarSmile ugly as sin.

  • OMGGGG HE STILL SOUNDS THE SAME IN GOOD TIMES LOLO AND STILL THE FUNNY GUY HE IZZZ,, LOL I LOVE HIS QUOTES

  • Things really change. David Letterman and Jay Leno used to work for Jimmy when he was hot.

  • clown ass nigger shuckin and jivin'...tired of this shit

  • @PrymeMick stfu..nigga ..j j is funni

  • its always nice to c JJ again!!!

  • Jimmie Walker is DY-NO-MITE

  • dy-no-mite!!!!

  • Tonight with "JJ Walker" Ooops.. I mean David Letterman. The video should be called David Letterman on Jimmie Walker.

  • what a fuckin prick

  • @LtProfty FUCK U MUTHERFUCKA

  • omg he has that same GOOD TIMES Voice

  • @Eldestsauce Stop being ignorant

  • i don't know why but i looooove his voice :)

  • Jimmy Walker is GREAT! Always was, always will be! Glad to see he's still around.

  • *clap* dynomite!!

  • Jimmy walker is the original gangsta

  • I never liked Jimmie Walker after he was responsible for John Amos leaving Good Times.

  • @ElvisFreak77 wats da rundown on dat

  • @Jokernose69 John Amos got upset that the people in charge of the show did not want to hear about how the show's direction had gone, especially the fact that the character JJ was getting more and more childish and the show was losing what it was supposed to be about and focusing on JJ's foolish behavior instead. They did not want to change it so John Amos quit. Jimmie Walker intentionally was not on the last show John Amos appeared, he was in on it, that is why I never cared for him afterward.

  • @ElvisFreak77 I never knew that I know he was not on that eposide of getting up the rent I never knew he was in on it, wow.

  • @ElvisFreak77 walker wasn't responsible for amos leaving good times... the writers and producers were... amos didn't like walkers character... that's not the same as not liking walker.... none of the actors were running anything or making any decisions....

  • no dynO-MITE!???

  • Damn he looks stoned

  • KID DYNOMITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where's his woman Ann Coulter..lol

  • He still look fine to me.

  • Jimmy looks stoned lmao.

  • Jay Jay still looks great. I love Jay Jay. The way he talks make me laugh. When he speaks I think about him macking the women on Good Times.

  • Dear F_ _ K U tube,

JJ was being in Character clumsy.

    Mrs. Walker is Funny.

His jokes are Original. If his joke when over your head it because it is only for people who are inform about what is going on in society and the world.

    Peace out !

    Teri

  • Wow, J.J.......man if he had the hat he would bring Good Times back.

  • I'd like his autograph.

  • JJ almost fell back off his chair. lol

  • This was the early 90's

  • @zenradio: It would be '95 or '96 to be precise--if Keith Richards was 51. He turned 66 this past Dec. 18th.

  • ahhhhhhh! i cant stop smilin!!! i lovee this guy! mann nothins changed! not even his voice! :) haha

  • Man he hasent changed at all:)

his vocie is the same in this video!

    but he bald..

    haha

  • kid *clap* DYNOMITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he did not change a bit from Good Times, props to Kid Dynomite!

  • BROTHER WALKER !!!!

  • Jimmy must be proud of the fact that he's famous for playing a 70's version of Stepin Fetchit.

  • Jimmy still sounds the same. I love him!

  • How come David didn't try to catch him when that chair almost fell back?

  • He kinda looks like Denzel Washington.

  • he is the man...good times and martin , amen, where the funniest comedies around

  • wow how the years past so fast. that was funny when the chair went back. :D he still has the J J dance in him, from Good Times.

  • JJ is funny but I hate how they "Good Times" portrayed the plight of black people. Jesus was it cool to be black poor and hungry on a continual basis and having a sixth grade education and a stay at home wife not working . F good times and Norman Lear for that portrayal of my people. Unbelievable that this was engrossed by millions of TV viewers. "Easy credit rip offs.

    Good Times.

    Scratchin' and surviving.

    Good Times.

    Hangin in a chow line

    Good Times

    WTF.

  • i didnt even grow up in the 70s and this guy is like one of my idols. KID DYNOMITE!!!

  • Kid DYNAMITE!

  • I LOVE J.J.!!!

  • he could have been bigger than he could have been?

  • dynomite

  • he was great, he could of been bigger than he could of been

  • Repossessiom: For the black man who thought he had everything. LMAO

The people who hate on Jimmey are people who didn't grow up in the 70's. Jimmie was Dave Chappelle before there was Dave Chappelle

  • Man, i feel the same way. Fuck haters!

  • most actors try to distinguish themselves from the characters they play...this dude here act just like JJ in real life...lol!!!

  • I've always loved the sound of his voice!!

  • what year is this???

  • Call him fat.. ugly.. or whatever!

But he's the dynomite man himself!

  • Yeah he is! Rock on JJ!

  • hahaha i love jj!!! makes me laugh so much

  • I luv his personality! Still has the same cool voice after all these yrs. I luved hi on Good times! But...he was funny lookin back then, even uglier now....I'm sorry, ya'll. U know it's tru! Where's his hair? He needs some! I miss young JJ. *trs*

  • Years and years later...still JJ Evans!! Great!

  • DYNAMITE!!!!

  • you mean

    DYNOMITE

  • letterman used to write for him and generously still throws him a bone.

  • always got a ignorent bitch like you saying something negative

  • he acts so much the same it's awesome lol

  • DYNOMITE!

  • jj would have been better on the arsenio hall show.

  • Letterman is the worst late night host. He can't contain Jimmie's eccentricity.

  • so so dry

    dave at points look unimpressed

  • Jimmie Walker is 61 years old.

  • Considering he is this age he looks good. Didn't think he was that old. He is not dried up and wrinkled like a white man would look.

  • I am white and DO agree with you...whites look older when we get older. lol!!!!! Go figure!

  • He is not ugly.Stop it.

  • jj is tired ass so called comedy

  • ya'll mothafuckas better chill out hatin on my man JJ one hit show is one more than any of you faggots ever got so show some respect for a legend.

  • @jmarmoore24 It's not a hit if only black people like it.

  • Jimmy Walker peaked with Good Times. . .when a team of writers was writing his material. Even seen his standup? Painfully unfunny.

  • this guy's humor is dryer than a dessert.

  • Classic Cringe Television!

  • SO UNFUNNY IT'S FUNNY!

  • lol...at the don king comment about how his hair would look if he was sent to an electric chair.

  • Dy-no-mite

  • Dy-no-mite

  • Repossesion that is Hilarious!

  • i LMFAO at this. bwhahahahhaa.

  • an unbelievable idiot. clearly a no-talent with a ones shot opportunity at the "good times". pun intended. but i'm sure if he read this he still wouldn't get it.

  • Mr. Walker smoked a joint immediately before coming on stage for this interview. Mr. Letterman was aware, hence his demeanor. Mr. Letterman was pissed, however he masked his contempt well enough for the filming & the audience.

  • i remember this interview. Letterman used to write for Jimmie Walker.

  • Jay Leno got his debut on Goodtimes

  • dynomite

  • he is lame, the writers in good times made him a star .

  • what years was this interview? like 1990?

  • jimmy is not funny

  • i guess that explains why you looked the video up and watched it too

  • fool almost fell off his chair

  • was he ever funny when he did stand up? good times made him i think...i miss those days :(

  • Funny! Nothing he said was .... funny!

  • i love how jimmie took over tha whole set.

  • Letterman had hair.

  • Jimmy is inw sick motherfucker. watch eddie murphy's delerious part 2 and see what he thinks of this guy...

  • "repossession, for the man who thought he had it all, but it didn't work out that way" lol!

  • Yikes! Is JJ Walker bald or does he shave his hair off? He is trully DYNOMITE!!!!!

  • Dave got his break writing jokes for J.J. Now Dave's kind of throwing him a bone... Sad.

  • Yeah, that sucks.

  • Hilarious! JJ seems like he's drunk as hell.

  • I usually like it when Dave is sarcastic w/ guest who deserve it, but Dave needs to get slapped here. Jimmy Walker was part of a groundbreaking tv show & totally deserved way more respect. Maybe Dave was upset that he hadn't come by earlier in the week(?)

  • Brother Walker is great.

  • Jimmie Walker is an underrated talent with a sharp wit and mind. He was also responsible for the careers of many comedians.
