  • It's old fashioned, but I love every moment of it; my mother was a great fan of Jack Buchanan after seeing him on the West End stage in the 20s and she passed on this appreciation to me; he was under used by Hollywood but scored a big success in The Band Wagon in 1953. Claud Allister is a revelation - straight out of P.G. Wodehouse, and Jeanette MacDonald just smoulders. Lubitsch's genius is in full flow with 'Beyond the Blue Horizon' a really great cinematic musical number. Thanks.

  • I apologize to you ! I left a comment on this movie but left it in the wrong movie comment block. Sprite

  • That is a rare treat. Many thanks.

  • That was Fun!!!! Thank you!!!!

  • thanks for showing all the full feature clips the last time you only had three unfortunatley greedy mca doesnt want to release this on dvd they are hoarding many of thier classics in the name of the fast buck

  • Such a joy of a film!! Lubitsch was the master of the genre and all accounts are that he was a bubbling character and his actors had fun on his sets. Miss Macdonalds pre-code acting styled was so much more lively and snappy than the later MGM image. The music here was masterly with snappy lyrics and very sophisticated for a 1930 cinema audience. Always in All Ways is just enchanting. Thankyou so much for posting this and for bringing Jeanettes class and beauty to new audiences.

  • Great film! Thanks.
