Or maybe, just MAYBE, it's the shitty youtube quality!!! I'm only fourteen years old but a HUGE van halen fan and I saw Van Halen almost a month ago in New Jersey. It was UNBELIEVABLE - Eddie was SPOT on and his solo had my jaw on the ground. I posted vids of the concert and somehow they all sound like pure shit!!!! The few good ones other people posted are pro filmed, and as this video is not, you can't expect the quality to be the best.VH RULE!!!!

@taubes3 1991...Saskatoon Saskachewan Canada, VH Unlawful Tour. Sammy involved in an intense road hockey tournament vs VH's roadies. Sammy got pneumonia and lost his voice for the next 3 shows and screamed, blood pouring from his larynx instead of post poning the shows. He scored a hat-trick in Sask...so it was worth it!

i kno what u mean... his live performances singing the last few years havent been as good. but like you said... for someone who is 60, you cant rip on him for that. i still think he would sound good in studio though, maybe just not live anymore
